Guys, i m not an active user, but been lurking here past few days in the wake of hype and then disappointment.. i wont list my issues with the game and how its wasted money- i already played all of it on PS4 , even online for a long time and wanted to have the same on PC, returned my PS4 version and got this one. Didnt expect this. I wanted to refund the game, as i have no other choice, waited on the support line till 2am, for about 3 hours, only to be delayed, met with those bot questions of "drivers, updating " etc, and then be told that i cannot be refunded, because i purchased this more than 14 days ago. It was a damn pre-order, it released yesterday and i barely played hour- most of that in settings. Is there anything else i can do? Was someone else greeted with denied refund? Thanks guys

next time take this an advice dont ever preorder a game never not even from the best devs gaming industry is becoming a f*cking joke

I enjoyed more than 200+ hours on PS4. I d like to enjoy my money back, since its a broken product.- its not normal that a 7 year PS4 runs it more stable than a new high-end PC.

I'm pretty sure EU has consumer proteciton acts that will force R* to refund.
So do not take it, I am not going to. Actually I kinda wait them to try to deny.

The cooling off period expires 14 days

after the day you received your goods. For service contracts, the cooling off period expires 14 days after the day you concluded the contract. If the cooling off period expires on a non-working day, your deadline is extended till the next working day.

The 14-day cooling off period does not apply to all purchases. Some of the exemptions are:

- online digital content, if you have already started downloading or streaming it and you agreed that you would lose your right of withdrawal by starting the performance

 

But then again Digital Contracts Rules contradict that again. xD

Thank you for the effort and info. Going to look more into it. It seems that they disabled the live chat too now. Also i just realised. I pre-ordered so soon because of the special offer, it was announced with the announcement of PC version, they had " time exclusive" offer- buy on RGL to get upgraded and to get this deal! Its till 22th of October, time limited!- Thats 14 days before release. It was clear and obvious bait and i dont believe for a second that it was random, that was intentional and its really shady practice. Not to mention the very fact, that they re counting time, when you couldnt even have the product as a "refund period." Their strikes just keep piling up.

Doesn't mean the credit card company automatically give your money back. They'll investigate the claim and take a decision.
