I would like to bitch about how they forgot to add a pause menu music like the one from V. They could’ve added some western stuff in the pause menu. My opinion. Only achievable through equipping the default shirt + the neckwear. Just like console. Sigh. Mcspanky37 Posted November 5, 2019 Share Posted November 5, 2019 I've got the game mostly maxed on a 1080ti at native 4k. It runs smoother than consoles for me, averaging 35-55 fps. I have textures, lighting, global illumination and trees at Ultra, a few other settings at high. The rest was at medium and have view distance sliders on the low side. The game seems to run better after the intro which has generous amounts of memory taxing fog effects. Mouse controls are also very good once you get it running smooth. FuturePastNow Posted November 6, 2019 Share Posted November 6, 2019 After over 12 hours of playing Online, I haven't found a single income or rank generating activity that I find fun or rewarding. 12 hours my character is rank 6 with no money beyond the pre-order bonuses and seems likely to remain that way. And worse, I feel stressed out by playing in a way GTA Online never made me feel, in constant fear of other players when there's no passive mode or friend session to retreat to. Holyskin Posted November 6, 2019 Share Posted November 6, 2019 My complaint is how sh*tty rockstars menu navigation is. as always... on char creation (for online) you cant even use the mouse to click the colour of your eyes for example, you have ot move away from WSAD and use the directional arrow keys... just why? in-game if you want to feed yourself or oyur horse you have to hold tab and while holding it down pres R to toggle weapon, consumable, horse consumables, THEN press A and D or was it Q and E to cycle thru the food /item types.. WHY o why cant you quick bind this stuff? accessing the posse menu or stables or anything in that 'online menu' is fantastically sh*te. we need Q binds for this stuff, its 2019! besides all that. loving the game Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It makes you immune to being locked on, give you increased health against other players and cant be Lassoed or attacked with Melee/Tackled. These same rules apply to other players as well. You can defend yourself against other Hostile players without consequence. My friends wants to meet together in RDO but the current prices are f*cked and the goodies that are in Ultimate Edition for PS4 and XO are not even included! We've had a full year of auto aim and freeaim clashing, lol. Much like the lack of lobby choice, we now have to share a one size fits all, cheap and tacky game of top trumps instead of the freedom growing from what GTA:O started and balance as a whole addressed. Those were pipe dreams. Though after how GTA:O went, I can see why the text chat has gone. Far too much abuse comes of that. Though it sucks for the good gamers that use these things properly. All the players that attacked me (and every city I saw was a warzone) was doing the Marksman Wiggle just like GTA. It was clear to me a lot of time ago that online mode in RDR2 is something that I won't even launch by mistake. No text chat, no closed/invite/friends sessions, no actual passive mode. R* can go to hell with their online experience, I'm going to be there for the story... when the game will work. Steam it is, or even a sale.
