GN 92
For those who want to go crazy there’s a trainer already. I’m not sure if I can share the link here but it’s with WeMod app. - It seems it’s for the Epic Games version, RL Version coming soon. - edit 2: some people managed it to work with RGL version as well. I didn’t try yet. - EDIT 3 - RGL version now supported. Edited November 6, 2019 by GN 92 ... _SMOKEY_ and Red_Dead_Mario82

Awful Waffle
if anyone was having trouble with the WeMod app, you can also google "FLING trainer" to find another RDR2 trainer which works as a standalone file. no need to download the WeMod launcher. there's also a new trainer available over at Mod-RDR which appears to have the first available teleport feature. roe
I'm really liking the unlimited dead eye option so far. Giving me the choice to pace the gunfights better and have a director-like control over the action. It's awesome

Awful Waffle
I can't wait until some proper Native Trainers are created like we have for GTAV which let us take control of the Time Cycle, Wanted Levels, Restricted Areas, etc etc even the ability to change different parts of the player model. like changing Arthur's beard from minimum to maximum without having to wait for days and days and days of in-game time. I want the ability to just change my entire beard at the flick of a switch when I get bored of one style and feel like trying another. Tuskin38
If you model swap to a police officer using the above script trainer, you can never get wanted as far as I can tell. Pretty sure that didn't happen in GTAV. It also treats police as friendlies, so you can't shoot them directly. Awful Waffle
Rockstar obviously fixed the original gold-bar-duplication trick at the town outside Horseshoe Overlook, so it's pretty nice that the 'infinite items' option on the trainer accomplishes the same thing. go to the Fence, sell one gold bar, and it turns into a stack of 30. I'm also using infinite items to save time on hunting. like on my Xbox game? I've already spent months hunting down and crafting every single piece of clothing available from the Trapper and to be honest I don't feel like doing it again... thanks to the new trainers, all you have to do is find JUST ONE perfect animal, grab the skin, and make sure the ITEMS CHEAT is turned ON when you sell it to the Trapper. now you instantly have 1,000 perfect pelts! massive time saver. Sysyphus
There's also a fully functional RDR2 Save Editor out there by X3T-Infinity, the same guy who developed the GTA5 Save Editor. You can edit almost everything about the game.

You can edit almost everything about the game. I'm having trouble with this. the Save Editor only works for certain features. it's not safe for others. ok I've done some more testing. you can in fact safely edit your savegame with the Save Editor, and not worry about losing your special edition items, but unfortunately it takes some trial and error. just make sure to BACKUP those save files before you begin... you can safely unlock Challenges and the Trapper Gear that goes with them (the holsters, bandolier, belt). you can safely change Arthur's beard but you CANNOT change his hair. if you change Arthur's hair, it turns the texture from brown to black. the beard is safe. you CANNOT safely unlock Satchels or Trapper Clothes. if you add Satchels or Trapper Clothes, they will appear in your wardrobe, but the Save Editor will also delete all of your special edition items, all of your custom outfits, and all of your Found and Stolen hats. it might delete other special edition content that I haven't even noticed yet. avoid this feature. if someone can figure out how to correct this or work around it, let us know. otherwise we continue to wait for a proper Native Trainer. Awful Waffle
figured out the best way to use the Save Editor for now. in order to quickly and safely unlock Satchels and Trapper Clothes, use the 'Inventory' tab in the Save Editor. don't use the Character or the Unlock tab. the Inventory feature works best. if you turn some junk into the Trapper or the Butcher (Pearson), like wolf hearts or feathers, you can use the editor to replace the useless items with perfect pelts and then buy the clothes and bags as you normally would. until we get a trainer with the ability to just spawn perfect pelts out of thin air, this looks like the best way to do it and keep your original wardrobe safe and intact. Awful Waffle
as of right now, there's no trainer that gives you 'special' god mode, only basic god mode (for the health meter itself). you can still be killed by death triggers or failed quick time events. that means falling from great heights or missing your shot in a duel will still result in death. Lenny updated his trainer and it's supposed to have the first special god mode which should protect you from ragdoll death. https://www.mod-rdr.com/files/file/7-lennys-simple-trainer/ you can still be killed by scripted events of course. but also there is a new update for RDR 2 itself so you might have to wait for Lenny to patch his own files. just like with GTAV, your mods will probably break every time the game updates.
