AdaChanDesu
Which, in turn, makes aiming feel like sh*t no matter what your sensitivity is. I've been trying to convert mine from GTA V or Battlefield to this and nothing felt right, which was confirmed just now by the person who runs www.mouse-sensitivity.com Another great aspect of the port lol, they couldn't even get mouse inputs right... DEALUX
Actually, it's the animations. It's supposed to be more realistic, the way you'd handle a gun in real life. It feels very sluggish below 60 FPS but it is fine 60 and up. Fairly smooth and responsive. Game supports raw mouse input so there's no acceleration (just tweak your mouse's sensor) to ruin the accuracy. Unfortunately that's not it - for example, if you try to adjust your mouse on a very small target, your movement hangs up and completely messes with your aim. To quote someone who knows about this better than me: "Even though the game apparently supports raw input, the game doesn't register the counts properly". For someone who spent thousands of hours in competitive FPS games, this really messes with my ability to aim and undoubtedly anyone who tries to play PvP in Online will come to realize how awful it feels. jimmycakes
There is something sluggish about it, but it was kind of like that in GTA V too

I noticed it too, I just put mouse smoothing that tad bit high and it feels brilliant now, considering the animations and the fact I will usually disable all mouse "enhancements" on games. DEALUX
Wait, isn't there an auto-aim option you're supposed to disable? AdaChanDesu
Update: https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/forum/topic/6290-red-dead-redemption-2/?tab=comments#comment-28048 If 1st person aiming is fine, but 3rd person aiming is not, someone at R* clearly f'ed something up and unless the issue is brought to attention, we'll always be stuck with ass shooting. :S Dryspace
Gleeman Vox
First person is superior in every way in RDR2. Strafing at will and no shaky screen when being shot at, unlike third person. Edited November 8, 2019 by Gleeman Vox
