Mark_IT_Zer0
GTX 970 i5-4460 8GB (4x2) DDR3 1600MHz RAM I'm able to play with ultra textures, high shadows, everything else being set to medium and getting around 35-40 fps. Tbh, i expected worse from my pc performance. Thought i might need to upgrade to 2070S, but graphics and fps are good enough for me. So i'll leave my pc as it is now till next-gen consoles arrive. You better upgrade your CPU and RAM, GTX 970 still isn't bad but your CPU and RAM can cause freezes and stuttering. It has tons of wildlands that guy can enjoy.

Koltos
Wtf with graphics bugs in this game? Sometimes shadows on distance appearing instantly. And this happens on ultra settings. Someone sad that Vulkan hasn't graphics bugs at all. But for me Vulkan made great freezing and crashes the game.... StaticSloth
Can you get smooth game play? With a good pc yes. I'm doing fine. Lots of fun. Is the game optimized well? Technically no. I can't say it is. Iv seen games do way more, with better graphics and use significantly less resources with lower temps. I'm not going to hate. Thanks for the amazing game Rockstar. There is so much to look forward to but my cpu temps shouldn't go up by 10C because I went to a town with a few npcs walking around. What could possibly be require so much cpu power. I have no idea. I cannot think of a justification
StyxTx
Not all settings need to be maxed out. So many of the things you can set are things you wouldn't even notice unless you were specifically looking for them. Texture is the biggie so that should be on ultra. I do use 3840x2160 resolution which in itself improves the looks of things. Edited February 14, 2020 by StyxTx
Candy_Licker
Is it normal this game uses 12 + gb of Ram or is it a memory leak? I keep having crashes with 16 gb Ram, the error report advises me to increase Virtual memory, but I wonder if it's normal that the game runs out of memory with my settings? I run mostly high settings in Full HD, far from maxed out. Surely a rig with an RX 5700 + 16gb should be able to run this without running out of memory? GATSXI0212
Overclocked 1050 ti w/ overclocked ryzen 3600. I have it on the high preset without vsync and it's between 54 and 27 fps. I think you can probably run ultra fine on current hardware Edited April 16, 2020 by GATSXI0212
