I'm still in the starting zones but the frame rate dips below 60 quite often (haven't got a FPS counter but it's quite obvious that the FPS is below 60). I noticed this - totally forgets any changes made once going back to the top level menu and then returning to the HDR section. Annoying. Though like on Xbox One X it's probably better to stick with the non-HDR mode as it was always a lot nicer looking than HDR. Shame R* can't get HDR properly working. Heroxoot Posted November 5, 2019 Share Posted November 5, 2019 40-50fps on the ultra preset. Upward of 55 in a lot of places. Using a 1080ti SC2 and an i7 6800k. Turning down settings did almost nothing. Maxing out regular settings took it to 30-40, and messing with the advanced settings brought my PC to it's knees at 25fps. I haven't had a chance yet to try the game (still at work) so I can't really give feedback yet. I suspect that I'll see issues though. I plan to run at 1080p Ryzen R5 1400 @ 3.6ghz MSI RX580 4gb 16 GB Corsair 3000mhz RAM Game is currently installed on HDD until I can free up space (or get a new) on my SSD. Ah interesting. I'm yet to start the game so will see how I find it later. It was always a lot nicer non-HDR on Xbox but maybe they have made some changes to it for the PC release. Be nice to be able to try the 'Game' HDR settings though as I was really able to crank up the white point on (to 9000) on my Samsung 4k TV, so be great to properly test that out.
