The build number is only one minor revision off from version 1.02, 1116.7 to 1116.8. Although the update size is larger than version 1.02, 3.7GB to 3.3GB. It's broken to the point that the quotes are now said in Chapter 1 (they weren't spoken there before). And it also happens in the Epilogue. Also, the update broke the responses to the random camp conversations: instead of playing the unique responses upon interacting, the generic greeting quotes are said instead. I tested this out with the duster coat and got the same results. Playing with HDR is a no no, it just looks bad in my opinion, but I also found that the game looks better in 1080p than 4k on my tv. With 4k everything looks slightly blurry. 1080p looks sharp and on the ps5 it runs steadily with 30fps, no lagging whatsoever. Is this a problem with the ps4 version of the game, it not being optimized for 4k? It looks like it's badly upscaled instead of true 4k. Me neither. Game mode is what makes the colours look totally off. HDR makes it looks very washed out. When I turned those two off, plus the 'bells and whistles' that come with modern a modern TV, tinkered with a few settings, then the visuals really popped out for me. X1X is a different story where 4k is native amd for me atleast the frame rate is relatively consistent. On the X1X dropping down to 1080p made the visuals pretty bad. Which patch should i use? 1.00 (epilogue john is better as far as i know) 1.10 (performance is better and graphics close to 1.00. But i remember it had some glitches) 1.20 (new story content such as new guns and few fixed.
