Yep so about that, I tried to replicate last night but couldn't (thankfully). Several times yesterday I noticed both my shoulder and back weapons were gone when I got on my horse. So I tried equipping them back, dismounting and boom they were gone. Even dismounting with the weapon in hand would make it disappear. I was in and out of showdowns yesterday, maybe it's what triggered the issue. It's definitely not intentional but it's definitely f*cked up. IamCourtney Posted November 5, 2019 Share Posted November 5, 2019 Was only able to get on for about 25 mins late night, didn't get disconnected, sad that this is even noteworthy but there it is. Camp is better but not perfect, it still refused to pitch within the region I was in but it would show up anywhere else without issue. Didn't notice any difference with the selection wheel but I didn't use it much either. Also didn't notice my back and shoulder guns remaining in the saddle after dismount but I swear to God if they changed it to work that way it could be a dealbreaker. Ok so I can confirm it got triggered after I exited "Name your weapon free for all tall trees". Didn't happen exiting from other modes (at least the ones you play with your own weapons). Camp: Had one in the bayou when i spawned in and with a lobby of 22 it actually did not disappear. After doing the new Legendary Bounty my camp was gone but in a lobby of 21 i was able to set up a camp in the bayou again Changing lobbies with hope of finding animals did not despawn my camp but did move it to a different location in the same area. Animals: Absolutely still the same. Lobby size still determines animal count. Lobby of 21+ equals 99.5 % extinction of animals. We need at least the option to play in smaller and or private lobbies. BUT THE BENZ Posted November 5, 2019 Share Posted November 5, 2019 they did NOT fix that bug where improved eagle eye on horseback doesn't work, as in you try to speed towards anything and when you activate eagle eye your horse drastically slows down, like the game forgot you unlocked the damn skill. I remember thinking maybe R* messed up and forgot to add the holster to the outfit and it was easier for them to put it in the gunsmiths menu for free later. Just a guess though. Everyone says it happens because you have died prior to it happening but this is not 100% the case for me. It happened yesterday and I know I had not died once in the session (first session of the day). What I have noticed is every time it has happened it was always after being in a session for a long time. Usually, changing sessions will fix it but yesterday I had to completely restart the game. I can't remember the other 9 or so times before if I had died or not but yesterday I am certain I didn't. Not saying dying isn't causing it, but in my experience it isn't just that. Dont know if it's related, but I did the legendary bounty yesterday and after capturing the target, decided to go gator hunting in the swamps to kill time and restock on big game meat, but my Eagle Eye didn't work at all.
