Haven't tried that yet. I fast traveled to the other end of the map just a few ago, to check if there's any animals there........, none so far.

You can't store your offhand weapon in your gunlocker. 

 

EDIT AGAIN:

 

It seems you can store it in the gun locker, after equipping it from the gun locker first.

yeah ps4 ...... nothing on item wheel works ...provisions, tonics camera , metal detector ..... can't even change outfits ......and just discovered I can't feed my horse either ......if it's not fixed ....it's basically unplayable now

You can put away the second pistol at any gunsmith. Just go to customize, and go over your offhand weapon and select unequip off hand. Then without getting on your horse at your weapon locker store all guns besides the one you use as a sidearm.

It works from the gun locker too, I noticed, after you equip it from the gun locker, you can store it back in (even if you already had it equipped. Don't ask...)

The online menu for me is f*cked. Takes about 10 seconds to become responsive. While the radial wheel is also a little less responsive, it's functional (PS4).

Item wheel, PS4, just keep holding the R joystick on the item while you release L1. A more deliberate hold on the item.

 

I suspect this is actually a "fix" to prevent accidental item selection.

 

Also since animals are still broken, please stop looking for animals. If they are broken in the session, or your camp is broken, do not keep trying. You are wasting your time, even if sometimes it starts working again. That session has become broken due to other player activity. Switch sessions until you find a working one.

Anyone checked if removing the offhand holster applies to Story Mode too? I've been away from the game a few weeks

The most disappointing discovery of the patch for me, so far, is that the Hat Tipping emote has been needlessly f*cking altered.

 

Prior to today's patch, as the emote name would suggest, my character tipped his hat. Now, for some unfathomable reason, the Hat Tipping emote no longer allows my character to tip his hat, instead he now does some weird f*cking salute.

When we attacked his operation, killed four prominent employees, and stole something valuable from their corpses. I hope there's some kind of plot twist, that we can stick it to some of these fat cats after legendary bounty number ten is done.

It's always done that when you don't have a hat equipped, are you saying it's doing the salute with a hat on?

Doesn't seem to, couldn't find an option to remove it as John or as Arthur.

Hey everybody, I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but I have some questions about the Legendary Bounty on Etta Doyle...

 

If she dies, it's instant mission fail? Or do you simply get zero dollars (XP or Daily Challenge tallies excepted)?

 

How distinctive is she from her gang? Can you zero in her through dialogue (pointing the one they refer to as 'Boss', for example). Or is it a case of getting close so the skull shows up on radar? Do the Refined Binocs or Eagle Eye Plus make it easy? What about at higher difficulties then?

I had loads of fun on the RDO feedback site yesterday. I do enjoy sending R* multiple messages about the things they just broke, needlessly changed or failed to fix in their most recent patch.

 

It's almost as good as downloading a patch, logging into the game and it being in a less broken state than before the patch, almost.

The game is heavily glitched. My horse can't use tricks from lvl 3&4 bond, don't keep the speed after releasing X, camps not spawning, etc.

 

But the Legendary Bounty is great, one of the best.

Weird, I thought the Legendary bounty was insanely easy (at least at one star.) There was really nothing to it; Found it somewhat disappointing. I'll have to try *2* star.

 

"Clone" Lady discovered me (behind crate in that area), reinforced lasso in hand and "b" her (knocks her down, hogties.) Do same to the next one, maybe a couple people shooting now, notice one "bounty" taking off, so assume it is etta, call horse and ignore everyone else and go after Etta. Then hogtie etta, switch to bounty wagon, casually ride to jail with no resistance.

 

So it isn't that she is "distinctive", she was just the one who ran (on a horse, to boot.)
