Merle Travis
Maybe its just me but if there is one thing about RDR2s good graphics I cant stand its odd color pallette. HDR on or off, everything has this grey and yellow-white haze to it. Examples from PC: Maybe that looks good in a trailer, but its very far from how real life actually looks. Do you think there could be done a simple color correction tweak to fix this? Maybe a Reshade or HDR tweak could be done on PC to restore realistic natural looking colors. What do you think? Vice Beach
I agree, in particular the weird orange effect in New Austin. I’d like to see it toned down to look more like it does in RDR1. What do you think? Definitely not the way to go. Fixing a single scene (depending on weather and time of day) with ReShade will mess up all the other scenes. Timecycle editing is the way to go. Color correction in certain locations is one of the planned features in the RDR2 graphics mod that _CP_, robi29 and myself are working on. You will hear more about it soon. Because the game is not aiming to look like real life. It looks like a cinematic movie. The game has dynamic filimic tone mapping depending on the area and time/weather. It needs so much work to modify. A Reshade effect won't do much. Edited November 4, 2019 by Red Dead Rebel Razed- and DarksunDaFirst
