Is Franklin in GTA 6?

Because in a recent interview with Steven Ogg, Shawn Foteno and Michael, Shawn said that he would like to work in GTA 6 and he said "We can't tell ya but.." then Steven Ogg suddenly said about the release date(which is most likely he was joking around) and he probably want to prevent from Shawn talking about any true information about him being in GTA 6? Do you think Shawn knows what we don't know? And do you think he's in GTA 6?

He could be or not, but it would be awesome to see them all Micheal, Franklin, and Trevor return in GTA VI. Maybe little cameo here and there.

Shawn has been trolling. Ever since V came out. He hasn't done anything in his acting career unlike Ned Luke and Steven Ogg who have gotten some work after V released. He trolled people about GTA V SP DLC now he's trolling about being in the next GTA.

 

However it is possible if the next GTA is set in present day or if R* decides to bring him back to play a different character.

Shawn has done voice work for Rockstar before Franklin, as a Grove St Member in GTA San Andreas (fat guy, plain green shirt, black pants and green bandana on his head). So maybe he's just doing the voice for a pedestrian/minor character.

How recent is this interview? Is there a link to it because the last time I saw the three of them together interviewing they were talking about Single Player DLC

I sure hope to see not a single character from GTAV make a reappearance. They were all cheesy, exaggerated stereotypes that were uninteresting at best and extremely annoying at worst.

I would love to see some V characters make appearances in VI, whether small or large roles. Not only were the voice actors awesome, particularly Ogg, but the characters themselves were so much fun to play as. It was truly engaging to see the interesting lives the three had, and for all their background differences, the way the criminal life brought them together was so well done.

 

However, all that said, Rockstar has a history of not carrying over main protagonists into other GTA games. The only notable exception was Fido's cameo in San Andreas. Other than that, Rockstar treats their characters like royalty in the games they are directly involved in, but they abandon them to the point of neglect in subsequent games. Think about it lol. Waaaaay back in 2001, we were all clamoring to find out what happened to Ray, and even more important, to Donald Love. The indication, at least, was that there might be a Ray sighting in Miami (Vice City), and the cryptic, mysterious way they abandoned Love in Love's Disappearance, gave the impression that they would resolve that thread, along with Ray's, in subsequent games. Never happened.

 

Though Love made a couple of cameos in Vice City, but that was a prequel. You kill off Avery in LCS, Tony is the protag of LCS, but its a different character. I guess you can rightly cite Maria and Catalina making appearances in San Andreas, with Maria (different actress) in LCS.

 

tl;dr - I don't think we will see any of the V protagonists in VI, unless Rockstar wants to make a show of killing one or more of them off, the way Trevor axed Johnny K.

Donald Love should make his return. Maybe a mission is which he gives you a dredger boat and make him a small kid friendly island for him and his mates.

 

I'm Frankly over the characters from V. I couldn't imagine he being back outside a street race or 2.

Took the words right out of my mouth. But I mean if they do make an appearance I hope we can kill them. Either in a main mission or random encounter. I want to see Lester get shot up. I hate when he calls me. I wanna go to his house and fill him with lead.

they shouldn't add trevor and michael to GTA 6, due to GTA V player's choice.

either that gonna make much speculation on last gta 5 mission.

they should add ken rosenberg, kent paul, maccer, tommy, and luis.

 

luis lopez is a perfect character to be added to gta 6, because 6 is going to be set in vice city.

and since that vice city is a big place to hook sexy women from, so of course luis wont miss this opportunity which makes him as a probable key character in gta 6 or even a random stranger and freak mission character like the ones in gta 5 which you find random people around makes you do them missions and stuff.

The ridiculous version of him that they brought back in Online (like, all they had to do was make him 10 years older, instead they made him look the same age or younger with a face like a buck toothed rabbit)? If they hadn't done that I'd be happy to see him again but yeah unfortunately they already did it and poorly. I agree it would be cool to see Luis again, I'd certainly prefer to see him than Franklin.

 

For some reason the idea of seeing old man Tommy Vercetti really appeals to me. They've never had the opportunity to bring back a character when they're that much older before, if the next game's in Vice City and they wrote it well it could be cool. I don't need to see a ton of old characters come back but getting some missions from Tommy or even just a cameo seems like it would be particularly awesome.

exactly, it will be awesome thing happen in the series to take missions from tommy.

None of the GTA V characters will be in GTA VI IMO.

 

Totally new story, setting and characters. Maybe we'll see a couple of minor characters crossover, but that'll be about it. I hope they revert back to a single character as well to play with.

They'll bring him back in a mission introducing the second playable character, who now owns a yacht. Franklin despite getting his life together, is now selling cocaine to the yacht protagonist. After pissing him off for some arbitrary reason while under the influence, Franklin walks the plank and drowns.
