Some custom flags have been added at the end, including one just for RDR2. Wonder what that is.

2070 super or 2080 super for 1440 gaming?

The 2080 super is 15/20 frames better and superior ray tracing performance. but is 200 dollars more. is worth it?

lol... my 2070 super with OC is as fast as 2080 super (OC) .. (depending on game)

20 frames and better RT is not true.. The difference is about 5% or less. That's why the 2070 super is the best buy.

I believe the Super series was made cheaper than the regular 20xx series, was it not?

Even then, the price hikes from generation to generation (xx70 to xy70, xx80 to xy80, et cetera) are just too much. The 2080 started at $200 more than the 1080, despite only outperforming it in benchmarks by about 20% (and that's not even considering the development time they had for the 2080).

This would be much less controversial if they separated their 'mainline' and 'flagship' lines and tailored them to different markets (casual gamers vs big spenders). But as it stands, they've basically added too-small performance improvements to their previous series of cards and raised prices disproportionately, from entry-level cards to high-end powerhouses.

One thing though! You guys better soak in all this pre-release hype for this hype is something special which you won't get to experience until their next title comes out on PC.

Cheers cowpokes!

I see. I'm looking at upgrading soon either way so I'll have to take some of these prices into consideration. Not sure if my 980 would last until the next lineup after the 2000 series, but... maybe.

Here in Sweden, a site just said that it will be playable 14:00 tomorrow.

People here said 01:00, but that seems not correct now :(

The 980 was a capable card, so it'll last you for a while yet. The question is whether the performance and graphics are up to your personal standards. Personally, I think I'll sit the 20xx series out and see what they come up with next, because the 20xx series is just not a value-for-money proposition.

If preload on epic is live, and if it really doesnt have encription/decription that means the release is really close, becouse the second  thatcrack scene gets the almost full game they will start the process of cracking.

my personal recomendation is to not buy a new gpu until the next gen consoles launch.  Unless you have right now some very old card.

You think presets in option are:

Low/medium/High/very high/ultra ?

In Gta5 there Is the option "very high"?

True, it was the same last gen, GTX 970 and GTX 980 came out a year after PS4 and they still offer great value at 1080p 60 fps in newest games.
