Scottiedog123
^^Ah yes I started working on it last night and fell asleep.. damn work. Will continue shortly Actually not the best time for me to put together a GT car post, as Ive recently sold a few, but I still have plenty Also there are a few cars, that I kind of class as grand tourers, even if others don't. I've been slightly generous with the classification. Edited November 2, 2019 by Scottiedog123

Nothing else matters I think we may have a couple of exceptions, As with @IceDree, I feel Veyrons and Chiron's are a bit.. GT ish. Because of their luxury/comfort aspects. Maybe a hyper-gt if you will. But they don't have FR, lots of luggage space, and wouldn't necessarily be very practical on a long journey. I generally think yeah, front engine rear drive, but there should really be a bit of space for comfortable long journeys, a slightly softer suspension set up, bigger boot, etc. But I know I'm gonna contradict my self a few times . Some cars I feel are kind of border line. Im also including classics in my selection. Anything goes if I feel it's a bit GT ish. But NOT anything... There ARE rules.. I just can't decide on them. Tricky one this. For example, cars in game don't always convey the essence of the car they are trying to emulate, so.. I put in my 6-series Beemers as they are GT ish, but then I think .. Supra? Skyline? They aren't doing much different to the 6. Same sort of flavour. BUT.. I suppose the luxury/quality element isn't there, so I have ruled them out, and they are a little more sporting in their nature. I was trying to think of it purely in GTA terms, like.. what cars (in gta) do I find comfortable long commuters, with FR drivetrain, etc.. Comfort in GTA is measured more in terms of ease to drive, soaking up bumps without you having to monitor every one, being able to relax and drive very fast, but with no stress, not having to correct every split second. The car feeling like it has you covered. Again I have definitely contradicted myself with my choices, it's a bit of a mixture of all I have been saying above. I would say basic rules.. 1. Fast 2. 2-door only (3 if it's a hatch/shooting brake style. No 4-doors) 3. Some amount of boot space 4. Luxury/comfort 5. Should really be FR (or rear bias 4WD). (this will help with rule 3 particularly) I don't usually consider convertibles as GT cars either really, but they do usually make very nice comfortable cruisers. And straight away, another exception.. being this is gta... the 4-door convertible Rolls Royce. Great GTA GT car, should obviously have 2 doors. It's going in.. Pics of mine soon.. Scottiedog123
So this was a bit of a beast of a post to make.. much thinking needed.. and of course with me, lots of pictures. In all cases I have included some of my exes and previous customisations. And there are still a few cars that are out for deliberation.. Consider all spoilers picture heavy! Ok, the absolute King of the GTA GT cars has to be the Paragon. It ticks just about every box. Aswell as being one of the truest to life designs. Plenty of options, good value (not really important) but correct in all the right areas. Although I would have liked a nicer interior it's not bad. Eats up the miles Second Bestia.. (I like what you did there @IceDree and I'd probably have to agree. When you can also make several versions of real cars, from luxury to more hardcore spec, based on what would be a great GT car, it doesn't exactly soak up the bumps in GTA and is a little twitchy, but no problem for a decent driver. Can't wait for the snow.. I got a few more horses in the third spot, The itali gto should rank higher but it's too hard edged, even after the fix. The Carbonizzare, I love always. And it too is a little hard edged and noisy and maybe a little small, but noise is important to me in any car. The glorious GT500 aka 250 GT swb. All three probably are my next favourites. THE GTO Everyone knows she got a great ass. THE CARBONIZZARE Let it snow! THE GT500 THE REST Another two Grottis.. The Stingers. I have recently sold my Stinger GT again. I never drive it. I get annoyed about the engine. I'll keep my regular stinger, but can't take the roof off as I'll get annoyed about the interior. It's a bit high strung and small and twitchy for a GT, but I still get that 60's Ferrari vibe. Truffades As mentioned, in here on exception. And not including my more hardcore versions. Felon GT And Surano ^↓ The Furore The Casco The Cog.cabrio.. ..Before the Paragon R. The Schlagen I'm currently only running one GTR version at the moment, but have had several including more normal GT/GTS types. The Windsor and drop. Dewbauchees and Ocelots Ubermacht Sixes The 190Z If it's done clean like a 2000GT then I think we're good. If it's done like a lunatic drift Datsun then it definitely ain't a GT car. It's just got such an air of quality about it this car. The Caddy The Vysser/Spyker So it's mid engined but it doesn't do super that well and has a big emphasis on luxury, it's always felt more GT ish. I've actually only kept one and I've made it quite racy. The Sterling GT.. I feel like it's the full Stirling Moss SLR, it's hard to forget its a race car when your driving it. Not very GT like.. And this thing.. I am happy I can make a reasonable Zagato with it, and you jump in fire her up.. sounds great! Then you drive off and wonder who just changed my engine?!?! Wtf happened to that nice sound? I don't care how fast it is.. my neutered GTO still beats it.. in every way. Honourary mention for the Pigalle. You defy your FF-ness and have a lot of GT-ish-ness. Standard Deluxe 59
I think I got all my main character's gt cars, unless the Schwartzer counts as one since it's kind of a CL55. And the Pigalle?
