Rock Howard
I can't find any info on this anywhere. Will there be a physical copy released on discs for PC? Mainline421
NightmanCometh96
With how many discs a physical version would require (unless it only had a digital voucher), as well the lack of an announcement has me leaning towards no. The fact that even the Rockstar Warehouse is only selling digital PC copies is also telling, IMO. RedIndianRobin

Shorty_F
GTA V is and will be the last physical release from R*, I guess. It (already) had so many DVDs inside, which was fun and some sort of "collector" for fans like us, but these days are over now (I mean, we now speak about 150 Gigs !!) Yeah, 7 DVD's for a installation was not so funny and took much time. It felt like a bad DJ You have to constantly sit around because at any time a different DVD was needed. I believe some Disc's 2 times. It was a 1,5h nightmare, but the Day One Patch was worse. I needed 24h for the download, because the bad servers. Yeah, I'm a oldschool PCGamer and I need my disc's, manual book and a box, but I think the time is over now. Shorty_F

Rock Howard
You are all probably right. I know I might be in the minority when I say this, but as an old timer PC/console gamer whose first gaming console was an Atari 2600, I always enjoyed having a physical copy of a game, complete with box art, maps manuals etc that you could sit on your shelf. I'll miss that when physical copies are inevitably phased out entirely. Edited October 30, 2019 by Rock Howard

But man, we now are only a couple of months before 2020, so...
