AmyStone
I'm curious what cards others have picked and their reasons for picking them. Different cards suit different types of game play. I'll start off with the ones I'm using at the moment. It's a recent change and for ages I had three different cards but I wanted to try something different. They seem to be working out ok. Paint it black 3 - I've tried using different cards but I've had this one so long that I can't live without it. It probably makes me a weak player that I rely on it so much. Winning streak 3 - I tend to get into medium distance fight with other players where we exchange a lot of shots (if I can't get a clean headshot easily) and this means I get more damage with each one. Fool me once 3 - This kind of goes with Winning Streak and means I take a bit less damage with each shot I receive. Kick in the Butt 3 - Because I rely on dead-eye quite a lot with Paint it Black then this gives me a bit of a top up as I'm fighting someone. I've tried Strange Medicine and Cold Blooded in the same slot but this seems to work better for me. Classique
Van_Hellsing
It depends on the situation. I really would Iike to see presets that you can define. Rockstar insists to make the user interface as sluggish as possible. While hunting it is PIB, Landon's Patience, the Unblinking eye and Horseman. An alternative would be Sharpschooter's. This to maximize one shot damage. For combat it is Quite an inspiration, Strange Medicine, Cold blooded and Gunslinger's choice. This focuses on health recovery. I successfully completed a legendary bounty on maximum level with this setup.
Caffeination
• Paint it Black Only makes sense for the Dead Eye ability to function like it should. • Peak Condition The increased stamina is incredibly convenient, and my character is fit, so it fits him. The increased damage while having full stamina is good, too, as it makes fighting on horseback or behind cover quicker to be done with. • The Unblinking Eye I got it because the Eagle Eye lasts longer, which becomes more helpful once you unlock the Eagle Eye+ ability. The reduced Dead Eye cost is a decent bonus, that way I can hunt more pronghorns should dare mock my skill as a bowman. • Gunslinger’s Choice I previously used Landon’s Patience, but that thing is only useful if you wait out your shots with a rifle. I usually prefer weapons with good fire-rate, hence why it’s useless with repeaters and dual-wielded sidearms. What I love about this card is that it made the Double-Action Revolver, a weapon I always admired but resented its inaccuracy and exaggerated bloom, much better than even the Schofield. This is without a doubt a perfect card for me, and even though I’m denying my repeater a slightly increased damage, I can headshot with it easy enough anyway.
