Foxwolfe
Yeah I know I was just being simplistic, like calling the first two orange and white. Edit: to answer your question no I haven't seen any issues with removing engravings yet. I have seen other weirdness tho like game not letting me make the special stew but letting me make the superior one, prolly just bugs with the new update, I would try again next time you're in the game and see if it's still doing it. AUScowboy
Does PC have the M1899 in online as well as SP? After finally getting to try it in SP on PS4, I very badly want to see it make it's way online for consoles.. ghostsoap01

Rockett800
D.D. Packenbush Double Barrel Shotgun Spoiler A few tweaks were made since last posting this gun, namely brass plating the frame, blackening the trigger guard, and fixing wild cherry furniture for it. The triggers and hammers are still nickeled. Just adds a bit more class without losing the simplicity. D.D. Packenbush LeMat Revolver Spoiler Again, just a few simple tweaks here. The trigger and hammers were brass plated to better match the real firearm's common arrangement, and a wild cherry grip was fitted. Disappointingly, Rockstar messed with the ironwood grip on the Lemat. It used to have a unique grain pattern with neat dark lines running horizontally across it, now it's just a plain vertical grain like every other revolver. Duke Navy Revolver Spoiler The well used old side arm, a carryover from an old man's pre-war days with a traditional look to match. Originally all blackened with just the trigger guard having been brass plated from the factory, the cylinder has since worn brown from years of regular handling. The grip is a hardy ironwood bubinga. Hutton & Baird Schofield Revolver Spoiler A Christmas gift from a wealthy and appreciative Montana ranch owner, this fantastic revolver is styled for a real life configuration of the Model 3 with everything but the brass plated frame being blackened and a Dark Rosewood grip having been fit on. Lancaster Model 1887 Repeating Shotgun Spoiler It's simple, but death's not often pretty. Purchased following the loss of his wife and daughter, this is the shotgun that brought an old man into bounty hunting, and has been bringing in marked men from Montana to New Austin. The metals are entirely blackened, the furniture is a deep bubinga, and the ash cloth was wrapped for extra grip on those cold mountain mornings. kcole4001
Wow! I wondered what the Horned variant looked like. It's a shame we can't customize the variants with strings and varnishes like the basic new bow. To be honest, the varnish is what I'd choose anyway, and the inlay looks pretty nice. I chose this variant: Since there are other new guns: I'm treating the Elephant Gun like it's real life stopping rifle counterpart: rare use, and careful handling. I haven't actually fired it yet. And since this lil' puppy sees a load of extra use now, i figured it might as well look a bit snappier; TheLordMarvel

Got dropped into Big Valley after a mission for Harriot last night and landed on a Random Event where I got robbed by some woman pretending her leg was hurt. All I had on me was the Varmint Rifle and the Elephant Gun so EG it was. The thing is a beast against NPC's, I shot a guy charging me on his horse and it looked like a cartoon, he just went flying back while his horse kept on running forward. darkmaster234, Tasty_Pasta and kcole4001 1
kcole4001
Today's 'modify a weapon' daily should have been done by just removing the wrap, but i had to put it back on to get it to register. Then I had to remove it again, as that was my intent anyway. The burled stock looks too nice to cover up, and I'm not going to use the rifle enough to worry about getting it dirty a lot anyway. Dark Spark
In case anyone was still concerned, they fixed the issue where you couldn't remove engravings once they'd been purchased. I was happy to lose the engraving work done upon the barrels of my guns. The top Navy is as close to the factory finish that I could manage, while the bottom one is worn off into the white. Alas, the 'tempered steel' finish is somewhat too bright in my opinion-- it looks more like a passivation coating rather than a case-hardened oxidation layer. OREOBOREALIS
So what color options there has been for the cloth wrap? I only have green and yellow and dont like them. Red could look cool maybe but did i allready miss it in the previous outlaws passes 1 and 2? There seems to be only blue (cobalt) in the op3. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Would really like some native style customization options for rifles and repeaters like this Grizzy, darkmaster234, TheLordMarvel and 3 others

Caffeination
This is a storymode screenshot, but I’ve redone my Cattleman twins to look like this, as a way to motivate me into using them again. I’m 100% glad that I went back to these revolvers. I’ve gotten frustrated with Rockstar’s poor treatment of the Double-Action, it’s somewhat okay when used with Gunslinger’s Choice, but you’re seriously better off using the Navy. The Navy two-shots all enemies when using Split Point ammo, including those ridiculous revenue agents, and so does the Cattleman when using Express ammo since they’re doing the exact same level of damage in this setup. The main differences will be accuracy, which the Navy excels at, and fire rate and reload speed, which the Cattleman excels at. You can easily interchange between the two, as you’ll experience no frustration when dealing with bullet sponges at all. darkmaster234, jackedbanan, DentureDynamite and 3 others

Direwrath
So I used that new metal from the pass on two of my favorite guns This is my main, the Navy Revolver I named Hyde, I thought the clashing of the colors on the metal kind of fit a maniacal sort and so it fits. And this is my Repeater Shotgun, my baby, named Endgame. I put the metal on this one because, well infinity stones and all. I am such a geek! Rev. It's ok as long as you remember to reload after every use. I know that technically two Navys is probably more powerful (I don't even think about semi auto or Mauser cuz I hate them) but I can't not use the LeMat cuz it just looks so cool! Plus the extra ammo comes in handy sometimes and I got my first player kill with the shot barrel yesterday just as he was about to kill me which was satisfying Edited October 16, 2020 by Captain Kyra Direwrath, Rev.
