Myths and Easter Eggs you'd like to see.

GTA has always been a great series, with each game having it's own strengths and weaknesses. But what most games always seem to have in some form or another is easter eggs, some of which made us laugh or feel intrigued, and myths to which we all said were rubbish but secretly went looking for during our free time. San Andreas and GTA V both had Bigfoot as part of their myths and easter eggs, and GTA IV had ratman living in the subway. This might seem odd, but I think it may make the games somewhat more interesting even if they're just minor additions to ultimately no purpose. So with that in mind, what kind of myths or easter eggs would you like to see in GTA Next? I'll give my own to start us off.

 

Easter Eggs:

• A "RIP Mickey DS" graffiti tag on the walls of some dilapidated area or building to suggest Ending B of GTA V was canon. Likewise let us have a "RIP Trevor P" in another area of a similar nature to suggest Ending A was canon. This doesn't confirm anything since it's contradictory, but it is like the graffiti in GTA IV that suggested all 3D unvierse protagonists are dead even though the universes are completely separate.

 

Myths:

• Now Bigfoot was an easy one for San Andreas, but why not be a bit more interesting and have some hints but no straight up confirmations of a surviving Megalodon shark in the tropical waters of Florida should the game take place in Vice City. For one, have a dead Baleen Whale such as a Humpback or Bowhead whale wash up on a beach or secluded shore area. It won't confirm that the big shark exists (which it doesn't in real life either, don't listen to those saying otherwise), but it's nice to have the crypt lovers going crazy when playing the game.

 

So anyway, let us know what ideas you have for myths, legends and easter eggs in the next GTA game, and be sure to give some explanations for them too as to why you'd like to see them, and why they'd be good for the game.

Alright lets assume the next gta has loads of ocean as well, it would be interesting to have random events happen at ocean

 

For example, if you have been boating for an extended period of time like around 10 minutes or more perhaps, you could encounter :

 

Ghost ships - ships in the distance which will float in one direction and disappear if you get close.

 

Squid/Big shark - let's say theres a dead dolphin or something and it immediately gets pulled underwater.

 

Possibly an event when there is a ship but everyone aboard is dead. - can help create mystery or theories.

 

Ocean related easter eggs or myths would encourage exploring

 

General Easter eggs - voices speaking or strange sounds at certain locations 

 

Radio easter egg - rare chance of radio changing to a weird broadcast, could be more code could be something else.

 

UFOs- should be really rare and will fly away if you look at them.

 

Can help bring life to certain areas which would otherwise just be abandoned

If the games in Vice City i'd like a easter egg showing too guys dressed like Tommy and Lance running out of an alley towards a white infernus. While being chased by chefs equipped with kitchen knifes. 

 

Kill the guys and you could have the knife as a bonus weapon.
