mwnn 50
Big upgrade time. https://imgur.com/a/2ji93vM lscpu We normally get the shaft over here with VAT @20% but I don't think I've done too badly. Think I've virtually got US pricing with a bit of savvy shopping. Got an eBay code for 15% off on the CPU making it cheaper than Amazon UK. 32GB 3200Mhz DDR4 (BLS2K16G4D32AESB aka "Micron E-Die" on Amazon UK one day offer for £99.50!) GIGABYTE X570 AORUS PRO Phenom II x4 955 -> Ryzen 3700X. It's a bit like going from horse and cart to the space age. I've waited for years for AMD to get their act together; I've not even got any USB3 ports on this old ASUS board. No later than Saturday for the other bits hopefully... You needed to sell a kidney and other body parts for that much RAM a few months ago (when everyone was buying Samsung B-Die) Now if only some clever chaps at Valve, Codeweavers, WINE, et al - would get it working via Proton. GTA V works perfectly (apart from the social club overlay) The melee combat in this looks glorious. Hope it doesn't end up being another broken f**k up like GTA IV. kubon352 712
Just found out that resoultion scaling gave me major fps boost. I set it up for 0,800 and got +8 FPS in normal gameplay. Of course image is not extra sharp, but still enjoyable and performance is quite smooth.

GinsengElixir 482
Anyone with good rigs having issues with this game - specifically textures? I have a gaming laptop only - i7 8th gen, gtx 1060, 8g ram etc - so I don't expect to look amazing or run spectacularly. But I downloaded RDR2 to test run it and see what kindof set up I'd need to run this optimally, but holy hell the textures are shockingly bad. Like 2005 bad. Specifically things like wood, mountain faces...even boah's coat looks super blurry. Then the frames are wild - going from 25-50. I guess you'd need more ram than 8g, but still shocking how poor it was in all regards. Did some reading and it looks like even those with higher end rigs struggle.

festyn 0
Hello guys, I would like to ask you about my problem with fps in rdr2. With all low I have about 40-45fps, dropping every couple seconds for a second, and dropping even more in a fights. On youtube I saw some videos where ppl with graphic card same as me played with medium/high with the same fps and without drops. I would love to play with 60fps even on low settings. Is that possible? Thx all! My PC: GTX 1060 6gb vram Intel Core i7-8750H 2.20ghz 12CPUs 16gb ram
