Question: What determines the 'Spawn location' submenu item order?

I'm asking because I bought all 3 Eclipse Tower suites today, and the way they appear in the Spawn Location submenu triggers my OCD so goddamn much. I bought them in this order: 3->2->1; but they appear in the menu as 2->1->3 (both for the garages and the living quarters). Is that particular order just how it's coded in the game, the 'natural' order they end up being listed in?..

It's probably the order in the slots you purchased them in.

If all apartment property slots have been occupied, attempt to purchase any random apartment...there you'll have to trade in some properties to get them in the order you want.

I see... That's still weird.

Initially I had 2 things: the CESP garage and crappy house. First I bought Suite 3, replacing the crappy house; then I bought Suite 2, replacing the garage; and finally, Suite 1 that didn't replace anything. It just feels weird that they fell into this order. I wonder if anyone who owns all 3 of those can check what's the order like for them. Could it be that they are just coded that way after all?

After you click to purchase an apartment/garage on Dynasty 8, you will be asked if you want to trade in one you already own, or add a new one when you own fewer than six. Trading-in overwrites the slot you select, and purchasing new adds an additional slot.

For all the other properties the order is chronological according to the release of the DLC in which they were included.

I think I'm starting to see what exactly happened. So I had two properties initially:

CESP Garage

CESP Apartment

The order in which I bought the suites was 3->2->1, however, with 3 I replaced the Apartment, and with 2 I replaced the Garage. So that's how I got this 2-3-1 order.

So... in order to get 1-2-3, I will have to do this: buy the cheapest possible property and replace 1 with it; then, buy 1, replacing 2; buy 2, replacing 3; and finally, buy 3, replacing the cheapest property. Satiating the OCD demons for ~1.2mil. I have to think about it, but sounds like a bargain...

Oh wait, not 1.2m, it's closer to ~600k, right? Considering that I'm going to get around ~50% of the cost back with each replacement.

CDO. Needs to be in alphabetical order.

Yes, that should work.

CESP properties are free regardless of how often you buy them, so you can use one of these for the first trade-in.

If only the condition itself was as funny as your joke.

Aaaand that's exactly how I did it, and it worked perfectly. Now I have it 1-2-3, nice and clean, and didn't even end up spending that much extra. Thanks for the help!

Apparently, it is.

Which is to say, in this case, the joke wasn't funny at all.

I'm sorry to have caused offence in my attempt at getting a cheap laugh. It wasn't meant to be at anyone's expense.
