Pretty keen on those vehicle discounts after that money earning week. Love Deadline so this week is a win for me, and also did all the prep for heist 3 for some reason a while back so could do this.

Rockstar has given away 1 free shot on Christmas in the past. I never get it, because I'm never home on Christmas. Unless you are a completion-ist I would not get the OC.

 

The security room is nice to have because you can call mercenaries on people and watch it happen. Unlike merryweather mercenaries from the phone that don't show you anything. There are 3 levels of mercenaries. Level 1 is free. Level 2 and 3 are not expensive.

 

Personal quarters is also nice to have because then you can spawn there. You can fill up on snacks at the desk and go straight to the heist room without leaving the facility. You still have to fly to ammunation to fill up your armor though.

 

I'll probably avoid orbital canon, if I need to revenge kill someone, I just go ahead and go for the kill by chasing them down. Besides It would suck to launch the canon for expensive money and missing your target O_o

Isn't that just grinding from a menu-based selection screen instead of doing so in freemode? All you're doing is going after double cash and RP in the way designated by Rockstar this week.

Double on contacts is always nice, I just wish bookmarked playlists weren't capped at such a small amount..

 

Didn't know what to expect going into it but I actually love the Zorusso, it's my 3rd favorite super from this update beside the Emerus and S80RR. The Zorusso has unique handling and isn't on rails the way the above mentioned cars are. It has character in both the handling and appearance and the tail lights are sweet (though I wish the brake lights and reverse lights were a bit more dynamic but that's a minor gripe).

What do you mean by this cap? I made a solo playlist that has 11 missions. Is there a limit on it?

I'd argue that we play CMs at our own pace, our own terms without being tied to a specific vehicle/technique and no pressure disguised as "efficiency" to make the most out of the event.

 

For example, during crate events, some of us push ourselves to make ridiculous amounts of money in a short period of time (a week) to make the most of it. You know, 2 warehouses, a terrorbyte, a MkII, strict time table ... The works, it sucks the life out of the game. CMs on the other hand are the complete opposite. We take a mellow approach, experiment here and there, mess around & end up with a decent paycheck at the end of the day.

 

Personally, I ground my air fleet during CM events and just drive. During these events I make sure I drive the majority of my cars and rotate between them.

The only time I bring out an aircraft is for the Wet Workers mission. Flying through Rainbow Raton Canyon & role playing as an Airforce pilot on a CAS mission is so satisfying for some reason ... Ohh, I have to retire to my quarters and think about this.

 

I also find the playlist way repetitive and boring, I like to pick up the missions at random. Its more fun that way.

You can only bookmark a certain amount of playlists, like 15 or 20.

Made $400k-ish from contact missions today. Didn't get a chance yesterday since I had to sell goods from Nightclub for the daily objective and my Nightclub hadn't been producing for a month or so. Spent all my GTA time trying to fix it and thankfully did.

 

Changing Apartments and/or redecorating is tempting since my places are really old, but I'm never in mine to begin with so I dunno.

I have some nice super and sports cars and all businesses, I'm just gonna stop playing until the next update release or if R* do some special event.

Same here but it was 50 mil. Lots of Props. Businesses and Cars spread out over 2 characters.  The Grind is over exceot in name.

Thursday when I got home from work I tried joining a cm through quick job, got in to "do you even lift" or whatever it's called, delivered a car and on my way to get the second one the mission failed because of a vehicle was destroyed.., just quit and went to bed.. Yesterday I tried again and got pulled in to a casino mission, just quit the game and played Battlefield V instead..

Finally finished the DDH finale. What a bitch. It's like survival in the server room combined with the fleeca hacks. I attempted it like 10 times before I got 2 really good randoms. They did the hack while I hid in a broom closet. I got the eagle statue, free lester call, act 1-3 awards and the all in order award, so I guess it was worth it.

I don't blame you; but these days, whatever I do, I do purely for fun--not grinding.

 

I find there's way more fun in trying new things in free roam, and really, just anything that pops into my mind at the time.

Last night I decided to trade 4 empty garages for 4 high end apartments while they were still on sale. Maybe this will make grinding heists easier. Tired of getting dumped outside of Eclipse or Del Piero and then having to drive all the way back to Integrity Way. Now I can just hope in my own apartment in the same building and do a quick job.
