Wagons, wagons and more wagons

Have you had a chance to play with some of the NPC wagons, those are so much fun!

 

First we need them, we the player need to be able to buy these things. 

I want the fancy one with the the rooftop cover that I see in St Denis.

 

Then we need some races. Screw those boring horse races, wagons are the future.

I can see obvious solo races, but also duo. One player steers and the other shoots targets. This could also work with teams of 4 or 5.

 

 

This last idea probably will never happen, even though it was a base feature in gtao, and that would be NPC driven taxi wagons. They had taxis in gtao that could drive you around, and I think it would be a great addition to rdro and roleplaying. Simply have the fast travel locations become NPC driven wagons with the option to fast travel like they have in story mode.

It sucks that as it is right now, jumping on any NPC wagon will get you shot in 3 second and a wanted level.

hilarious idea though, imagine people rolling through st denis with these carts, crashing, taking turns on 1 wheel. why not post it to rockstar feedback site?

The wagon races sound fun, but I'm so bored of racing in RDRO with how everything is combat based that adding more with combat is about as appealing as chewing on sandpaper.

 

If they add some stunt courses, showjumping, and regular non-combat racing, I could enjoy a wagon race now and then between. But as it's all shooting anyway, I've long tuned out and wouldn't return for more of basically the same.

During the Beta, Wagons are what kept me sane. Wagon Demo Durby, Dynamite Wagon Run, Wagon Drifting, Wagon Jumping (doesn't work very well, still fun)

 

I'd love to see them used a little more for events.

Eh, I'd consider it less of an immersion-breaker than neon slasher movie masks (which we just got), considering that:

 

1. unless you're in a posse, it's either going to be harmless or immobile - and even then, it's not like people can't just outrun it.

2. it's at least based on something from a classic Western (named, imaginatively enough, "The War Wagon"... ), compared to GTAO shoving in sci-fi movie stuff into a game/setting that was originally more like an HBO drama or Michael Mann movie...

 

 

 

I'm probably going to get a prison wagon as soon as I unlock it (or wait for a discount, maybe) - but ideally, I'd much rather one of the fancy Brougham carriages you see around Saint Denis, just so I can do the Red Dead equivalent of tearing up the streets in a Growler in AC Syndicate:
