Hi there, I don't know exactly where to post this but i will give it a shot and if I am making a mistake please tell me. I want to complete my Collection of GTA. I am missing GTA 1 and 2. That`s it and I can't find them anywhere to buy for steam. Does anyone have any idea how or from where i can purchase them?. Thank you advance and again I am sorry for any inconvenience. Wish you all a good day. :)

eBay is the way to go. Other auction sites might be useful too.

Note that there are versions of these games for Playstation (and Dreamcast?) too, in addition to PC. Also, re-releases such as SoldOut are common on these markets so if you want the original release CDs, be careful.

What is SoldOut? They make fake rereleases? Is that true for the PlayStation version, or just PC?

No need to worry about SoldOut, they are genuine re-releases and you'll get a real and legal copy of the game.

What do they print? Do they sell ps1 games? I’m just asking because I prefer also to avoid rereleases and I’m looking for a black label ps1 copy

Sold Out made PC re-releases of older games that were sold for cheap. They normally didn't contain any extras like the manual and maps in the GTA games.

The cheapest versions of the 2D-era GTA games that aren't re-releases are PS1 black label copies. If this is just for a collection, I would recommend the European versions of GTA 1 and London 1969, as they have far better maps.

On PC, there are the Rockstar Classics Collection versions. I would avoid these for GTA 1 and London 1969, as they have bugs such as save file corruption and incorrect music. Also, GTA: London 1961 doesn't work with these.

There are the original big box releases of GTA 1, London 1969 and GTA 2. The European versions of these are the most common. GTA 1 and London 1969 come with big, A3 maps. GTA 2 comes with smaller maps, except for the American version, but that's very expensive. The big box versions are the most expensive ones. If you want to play GTA: London 1961, you can get just the CD versions of GTA 1 and GTA: London 1969 much cheaper.

GTA: London 1961 was available as a digital download until Rockstar took down their flash-based websites at the end of 2020. You can still get it here:

https://web.archive.org/web/20060204093329/http://www.rockstargames.com/gtalondon/

It requires GTA 1 and GTA: London 1969 to be installed. It also requires the GTA: London 1969 disc to be inserted in the drive.
