The best IE warehouse, cost being ignored

I just finished emptying my ie warehouse on both my characters since davis(edit wrong name) is surrounded by hostile gang members.

 

the 3 at the airport are too far out of the way, so is the one at the docks and the one at the oil fields.

 

that leaves:

Murieta Heights

La Mesa

Cypres flats

 

Is La mesa the best even though it’s the cheapest? is it easy to get a cargobob delivery in there? Cypress is farther away and Murietta looks like it’s in a tiny back alley

i have davis and not a single time i had problems with those gang members. just don't shoot while you are in that area or crash into them(?) i guess

La Puerta is also ideal for highway access. Most drop-off locations are of relatively close proximity.

 

+ Terrorbyte spawns parked in the nearby compound to the right of you as you walk out; easy sourcing and selling operation from one location.

i don’t know all the names, but i knew it was near the oil things

i just visited muriatta heights btw, it actually seems to have alright access

there’s also the issue of a small pole sticking out from the top of the building that my cargobob does not like

La Puerta is really not out of the way as it's closest to most of the export locations, and it's right next to a highway ramp. It's also so close to a Pegasus helipad that you can go fetch a Cargobob without the NPCs spawning during an export mission.

 

However, if you always use a Cargobob for importing, then Murrieta Heights is probably the better location, because it offers comparable export distances as La Puerta and the warehouse entrance is located more conveniently when importing by air.

 

Purely in regards to the ease of approaching it in a Cargobob, LSIA Big House is the best warehouse though because its gate opens to the North and it has a large, open parking area in front.

 

La Mesa has gang members, so if that's an issue, avoid it.

I have the expensive one by the freeway, top right corner. It okay, quick access to the main roads.

 

I dont mind the gangsters because if people try kill you as you garage a car, they will get shot at by the gang members. Good if they make a mistake.

Lol yeah I love using the MOC there to block the garage and then go ghost...one of those things that make the game what it is.

Worst: La Mesa. Not necessarily because of the Vagos, or because cheapest usually means worst, but since it is the cheapest everyone else has it too, which means it is a hot zone. This location has the highest probability of other players messing with your cars. (usually off the radar, sniping you out, stealing your car, and delivering it to their own warehouse in the same location)

I can't recommend Davis either, partly because of the Ballas, partly because of the entrance layout.

 

In my opinion the best are Murietta Heights, El Burro heights and La Puerta, as they are furthest up north, so closer to most sale locations. I get most of my sales in Chumash or Vinewood Hills (some collections go to the docks) so I chose La Puerta. (I started out with La Mesa but I moved)

I've been thinking of moving for such a long time from LA Mesa but my garage has 32 cars! It'd take very long to sell them all off! And to think each and every car is a collection car to boot!

I've completely cleared out warehouses three times and having all the collections actually helps a lot, because the bonus is per delivered car, so it actually pays very well for people helping you. For example, a two-car collection pays $40k if you let your helper deliver both, or $60k right now with x1.5. Four-car collections pay a $75k bonus per car right now, which is really good money for what's a 2-3 minute mission.

Come now, you don't get Bad Sport points for stealing or destroying I/E stock, you know that. Mining and / or blocking I/E garages with the MOC trailer is funny anyway.

 

I ended up in Bad Sport only for battling with other OP 2 riders (which should be allowed imo), and prior to my stint over the weekend, I hadn't been to Bad Sport for what must be a year now at least.

I like the LSIA warehouse: close to Pegasus Cargobob spawn points, the pier source mission with the buzzards is dead easy for LSIA warehouse, you just lift and fly, they can't catch you, also plenty of clear parking space for helos (the diagonal lined block in the parking lot is perfect).

Selling from there limits the drops mainly to the city, with Devin Weston's house being the farthest drop up in the hills.

La Mesa is easy and I've learned all the solo tricks n stuff. But I'm growing tired of it and have been thinking of trying either Murieta Heights or La Puerta. Alternatively if I can ever figure out how to use the stupid cargo bob without destroying everything in sight on the PC, than I would considering one of the LSIA locations because of its proximity to my hanger and helicopter spawns etc. 

 

Given the three you have listed though, I'd go for Murieta Heights.

At least the NPCs mounting some roadblocks would make way more sense than a couple of cars blatantly spawning in front of you all the time.

Practice is all you need.

It's easy when you've spent a lot of time in a helo. The controls feel very intuitive when you're that familiar with them.

As far as hooking a car goes: approaching from the rear works best, as if you're trying to hook the spoiler.

I've got 2 years in the Buzzard but I can't get the damn cargo bob even close to the cars without destroying them or it. I'm sure I'll get it eventually. But ugh. Helicopter on PC is already painful without trying to be a surgeon with it.

Just don't even bother trying to hook up the Tyrus or Roosevelt valor.

 

THe Tyrus is just "NO! I DON'T WANT A HOOKUP!" and the Valor is HEAVY.

 

And the worst part about helis in this game is that GODDAMN AUTOCENTERING CAMERA!

La Puerta is usually the best. Close to the heliport, good terrorbyte spawn and you can like straightline drive all cars to/from here as this place is basically where all Southbound LS roads funnel to.

There are no buildings at the intersections around here so you can literally straightline it if you go offroad.

Also no obstructions for Cargobob deliveries, and the recycling place just over the bridge is perfectly positioned to trigger/hide from the Sultans.
