Kirk Lazarus Posted October 19, 2019 Share Posted October 19, 2019 (edited) I was able to do the poncho trick I've seen floating around with ending a Bounty Hunter mission. I've had zero luck following the instructions in several videos to pop off a bandolier sadly. One funny glitch was popping off Collector coats though to see a bare back on a female character. Has anyone else had success in the past day or two getting the bandolier trick to work? Has anyone experienced other costume glitches of note? Annoying side-affect to glitches... I tend to spawn with the default simple outfit, barefoot at the start of Free Roam sometimes and almost always during Showdowns if I have any glitched outfits stored. Yeah sometimes going into freeroam it breaks but easy enough to just call the horse and fix it again, story style missions (like the legendary bounties) and things like free roam events/showdowns will break them too and due to not being able to mess with your outfit in those I try to change to something else before doing those kind of activities. I really liked them in freeroam, but in Story Missions, freeroam events etc. my character loaded in shirtless and shoeless, which I disliked enough to ditch the bandoliers. Not as far as I know, it's a side effect of glitching the bandoliers off of their outfits. F***ing every God on a platter. I've been suffering through this for a while now & it's driving me crazy. The ONLY outfit that ever loads properly is my Bounty Hunter one, but I kinda feel f***ing trapped in it, since I actually have five other outfits, that look snazzy & that I'd LOVE to wear without being spawned in nekkid. I've put in two tickets, but R* has yet to figure out wtf is going on let alone fix it. I'm praying that Tuesday will bring an end to this nonsense. Rev. Rev. Gnash Posted October 20, 2019 Share Posted October 20, 2019 I deleted all of my outfits (except the bandilero). Remade them, using one of the game outfits as a base (the Sheffield). The bit where you can shove a brick through the space between the bandolier and the character's shoulder is enough for me to not even attempt to glitch an outfit like that. Foxwolfe Posted October 21, 2019 Share Posted October 21, 2019 It all depends on what items you do/can pair with the belts/bandoliers, I've got a pic posted of one of my glitched outfits in the fashion thread that shows imo a good example, but yeah I hear ya. I think with this type of stuff a degree of clipping/floating has to be expected, unless they were to make all characters share the exact same body type/size and even then that's single player were the problem still exists. Hopefully they figure something out cause I'd rather have a less than ideal but ultimately passable implementation of these kinda clothing items in the game than none at all outside of the restrictive role outfits. Unfortunately the Carthage will supply you with that little cape thing too, kinda limited to the other 3 lower level bounty hunter outfit bandoliers if you don't want the cape. Shame because I only see my character from behind and the cape covers the bandoliers so I can't see them lol. I'll try some of the others. Do I use the same method (Grizzlies outfit, no coat etc.), just swapping the Carthage for one of the others? Still need to change belt buckle? Sorry for all the questions, I tried following guides but they don't seem to work exactly the way I'm shown and have to mess around a bit to get things to work. Took at least 30 minutes and around 10-15 session swaps to get the Carthage bandolier to work. I almost gave up thinking it had been patched. Foxwolfe Posted October 25, 2019 Share Posted October 25, 2019 I had to do the same unfortunately, the first outfit I tried it with I couldn't get to work after many attempts then tried the Tier 1 bounty and Tier 3 collector outfits and they both worked first try.
