thalilmythos Posted October 15, 2019 Share Posted October 15, 2019 Improved panic state Have you ever been doing a mass slaughter, and suddenly a prostitute just spawns behind you and... just walks like nothing is happening? like there is not a car on fire, 3 gang members death, a cop, and a guy in his underwear who commited all the crimes with a shotgun in his hand? I hate that. So well, i present, improved panic state. FEATURES PANIC AREA: there will be a panic area whenever you fire a shot, which means, after you do that, every ped around you even the ones that just spawned, will run away in panic if you remain in the area, even that prostitute that used to walk like nothing is happening. POLICE RESPONSE: If a cop happens to arrive while you are there, then you are evidently the first suspect in that crime scene, so you will get a wanted level. GANGS REACTION: If there are gang members around, they will notice someone fired a shot, they will pull out a weapon of their own, and then they will attack you, like they do on GTA V. VEHICLES PANIC: If vehicles see you armed, they will enter panic state and drive away, maybe even run you over. INI CUSTOMIZATION: Everything by default in the download just offers the features above, in case you don't want to read all this sh*t. DRAWDISTANCE: Here you set the size of the panic area. PANICDENSITYONOFF: Here you decide if the pedestrian density (the amount of pedestrians in the streets) will change inside the panic area, 1 is on 0 is off PANICDENSITY: Here you set the pedestrian density inside the panic density area, using a format like this: 1.0 if you want no pedestrians inside the panic area after everyone runs away, set it to 0.0 DENSITY: Here you set the pedestrian density that the game will return to after getting out of the panic area, , usefull if you use other mods like mix sets or civ dens to increase the peds density, so that you can use the same value used there, default is 1.0 . PANICDENSITYDISTANCE: Here you set the size of the area that will have the pedestrian density changed inside the panic area, it can be the same, or less. For example, you fire a shot, and a circle, the size of DRAWDISTANCE is created around you. Inside that circle, there will be another which is PANICDENSITYDISTANCE, which is where the pedestrian density will change. It can be the same as drawdistance if you wish to. Why not include it all into one script, with one INI letting you enable or disable the same features? using it all in the same file, reduces effectivity, makes the result in game be slower, which will traduce in the prostitute walking like nothing is happening for 5 seconds, and then running away, or things alike.. -Gaming4Life- Posted January 3, 2020 Share Posted January 3, 2020 Hey dude i have an idea for your mod: What if when you fire a shot you start to hear panic sounds from the pedestrians that are far away (that technically don't exist) like in gta v I have extracted some audio files from GTA V and True Crime Streets of L.A (the pc version has awful sounds and missing textures sh***y pc port from console by luxoflux)...
