CECIL C. TUCKER: ARSONIST AND MURDERER ON THE RUN (October 15th)

Next-Gen Vercettis

I'm an average player I think, but I just did the 3 star difficulty solo and it was the easiest yet.

Took out the first set of guards without getting hit.

Climbed to the highest tower (where a tarot card sometimes spawns), took cover and shot through the window gap, taking guards out one at a time with a rifle and dead eye. Don't remember getting hit here.

Swapped cover and took out the last guards, leaving just the bounty. Climbed down and ran to him using cover. Tackled him without being shot.

Rode to my camping house and no enemy spawned on the way, so I waited a few minutes and rode to the train tracks. Still no enemy spawned, even on the side road to the left going into Annesburg.

I have done 1,2 and 5 star versions of this and enemy have always spawned at some point on the way back. I wonder if I did something to prevent it?

Going to turn him in now, my 30 minutes must be up. 😁

Biggest pain is trying not to kill Cecil, his guards sometimes headshot you with the bolt action if you take too long.

This som bitch was hard as hell. I can’t even tell how many bandits I killed... I think I took out an entire town with that many bandits.

I know the feeling....

Are you kidding me Rockstar ?

I just went from collector rank 16 or 17 to rank 20 in just one or two hours. That was fast.

Meanwhile, the Bounty Hunter role is tough one to level up, I'm currently rank 17, the only way to level up fast is to grind the legendary bounty which for this week is facing an army of enemies with deadly weapons and almost perfect accuracy.

Not to mention the stupid "the more time you spend, the better your reward" system which shouldn't be a thing.

Lmao I’ve already completed 1-5 stars of this bounty. About to do it again as I’m typing this. Hopefully I complete my goal which is to NOT die.

We can start a group meet up in the Saloons while we wait. Might be a good way to network with other Cowboys.

Tucker is actually easy if you employ the right strategy. You hide in the tower for the enemies at the start. The toughest part most people find is the enemies who spawn during the ride back. The best strategy you can do is make the short trip back to the fort and hold your ground there. They are much easier to handle when you have the appropriate cover to stand your ground.

Never had an issue on the way back.... Just take the rails to St Denis.... No ambushes or so... Maybe some odd spawning of 3-5 enemies but that is all...

There is no need to run past if you employ my strategy. Besides the quicker you do it, the less you're paid. Why not just take your time dispatching them, looting them, and then make the delivery to Annesburg? What do you have to lose?

From what I can tell the baddies on this mission seem to have a higher drop chance for valuables as well which is a big bonus.

Did lvl 4 solo made 134 bucks... Took my time to kill them all using all kinds of means... With a stupid horse as mine are it´s much easier to ride to St Denis....

It sounds like a bug... if it happens to me, I send a ticket! Mo way I spend a sh*t ton of ammo and potions and don´t get paid for the trouble!

Done it once. Not doing it again. The bounty role is dead to me if this type of sh*t becomes the norm. Gave me flashbacks of Doomsday Heist.

Pathetic effort Rockstar.

I had a funny glitch today, one of the enemies in this bounty was apparently called Fort Brennand. I'm not kidding. It said that when I went to loot that enemy. I have a screenshot if anyone wants to see it.

Have the same screenshot where it gives me the option to ‘pickup’ Fort Brennand 😂

What didn’t you enjoy about it?

Did the Legendary bounty on 5* twice. First time the SOB lit himself on fire, so he died; second time we got him perfectly.

Biggest issue I have is seeing where he is and making sure I don't accidentally kill him.

Also random, but twice I've killed every single person around the fort and on the way back, there wasn't anyone shooting. Yet on the time where I left a few alive, I was attacked on the way over. Did they like call for reinforcements if you leave some alive or just a glitch?

Finally got round to trying this and he set himself on fire, or one of his guards did, right next to the wagon...
