Yeah - I shoot the horses and melee with poison throwing knives.

Seeing Skinners, holding their guts, staggering into the brush, groaning and whimpering. Unsuccessfully, trying to walk off that oleander poison never gets old.

Sidenote: shooting a charging cougar, with a poison arrow. And hearing it yell "WTF, " in cougar sound. Is equally satisfying.

People forgot about them. I, for sure, don't bother with them anymore :D

But yeah, some were absolute bullet sponges. Others were really easy to get headshots on and defend the camps. Thing is, as soon as you finished a defence, the enemies despawned and left close to nothing to loot. I find them a waste of time and ammo.

Wait you can get a bandolier now?

Say what?

As an individual purchasable item?

Or do you mean the bandoliers that come as part of certain role outfits?

Is anybody having trouble connecting to the Cecil bounty? I clicked to play it and as it was loading the mission, it disconnected. As I clicked “ok” on the disconnection screen, I noticed it had a different error code than usual.

Now when I click on the bounty, it’s as if it doesn’t register and won’t even load the bounty. Other bounties work fine though.

Just curious if anyone else has run into this.

The best tower to hide in is the one directly to the right of the Maxim gun (the one that lets you climb to the top with a ladder). You have to fiddle a bit with cover, but it's a pretty good spot to hold out until Cecil appears. After that, you just have to get down and go through your health tonics blasting enemies away with your shotgun until you free to tackle and hogtie Cecil.

I dunno why TheProfessional called this the hardest legendary bounty, it's easy as piss.

That’s the tower I use too. I stay in the fort though for the last group with the bounty and fire from the ramparts along the wall. Basically it’s pop up and shoot one then straight into cover again otherwise my heads fubar.

Anyone else think the bounty looks like a young Gary Lineker?

(Not a great pic, I took it from the opening cut scene)

To mitigate this, I lasso one enemy, leaving him alive until I can kill and loot all the rest of the enemies. The reinforced lasso really helps keep them secure for quite awhile.

This time I made sure to get the max payout on this week's Legendary Bounty. It's kinda odd the payout is only $150 .48 gold and 1500 exp. Although in some aspects I guess the other higher paying bounties were probably harder to do. The higher paying ones are Owlhoot and Vincenza.

On this run I find a nice cheesy way to get it done without using too many tonics:

I think he kinda looks like an older version of that YouTuber, Hazzard, LOL Which is kinda funny/awful, 'cause Hazzard seems like cool dude.

Noticed something yesterday. Only did the 1 and 2 star versions so far but the bounty stayed on my horse for around 10 minutes in total without trying to escape. The 2 times I removed him from the horse he untied himself almost immediately both times (reinforced lasso).

He also said we should buy collector maps from Nazar in his so called 'ultimate collector guide'.

Biggest joke I ever heard.

The mission is easy so long as you hold up in a good spot, its lengthy though with the amount of enemies you must cut down. The most enemies that been thrown at you than in any other bounty. A literal army is between you and the bounty. Be careful though cause the bounty is often right in the middle of all of them. Identify him by his prominent blue shirt, it stands out amongst his army of lackeys if you're paying attention. The riskiest part is the ride back when even more enemies show up out of the blue. They spawn bomb and rush the hell out of you like always. Its during times like these is why I love running the tank build, harder for Rockstar to cheese a kill if I am just brushing off whatever they throw at me. The cold blooded ability card is great for replenishing health without burning through twenty tonics.

Took me a few goes but I finally completed it on five star difficulty. I'm sure my accuracy went down a bit. I'd lock on to a target and empty a whole clip without even hitting them once. The ride back was the easiest part. Avoid the road and go to the Van Horn train station then follow the tracks back to Annesburg will ensure you don't come across anymore Lemoyne Raiders.

They should give these bountys a fix pay.... Starting with 100$ and ad 50$ for every star, I take even 25$ for every star.... Maybe I give the 3 star a shoot this evening....

I agree.

However, I did it differently to waste time and get more money, and to get extra xp for kills, by camping in this house and using the doorway for cover.

I left the bounty alive on my horse outside and he didn't try to escape.

I always lasso the first guy I can get to. In the past, he would always break free before I could kill the rest of the enemies, but with the reinforced lasso, I can kill and loot everyone before he breaks free.

I'm confused. You are talking about the legendary bounty, right? AFAIK there is only 1 target - even on the hardest difficulty - and the only one that needs to be lassoed.

What am I missing?

ETA: I scrolled up and saw you were talking about the traveller camp missions, sorry!

Yea, as soon as you hogtie him he is no longer a red dot. The mission ends after killing the rest of the enemies, leaving the hogtied guy there still alive. Are the corpses despawning for you after the mission ends even though the hogtied guy is still there alive? When I do it this way, I’m left with 9-13 corpses to loot instead of just 3 or 4.

Shadowfennekin

That was the most work to earn a limited clothing piece yet.

The 'role' challenges are all grindy lol Unless you get lucky and 'drink alchohol collection alcohol' or 'eat camp soup' are there

I hope they stick to standard 'daily' challenges for future unlocks. The hat's nice... for a leprachaun lol

Am I supposed to receive less and less role XP for each consecutive time I turn in 5-star bounties? Because this seems like an incredibly grindy mess, and Cecil ALWAYS takes his time getting to the fort while hiding behind literally over a hundred men capable of ludicrous accuracy and damage.

This som bitch was hard as hell. I can’t even tell how many bandits I killed... I think I took out an entire town with that many bandits.
