Hold up there may be some inaccuracy. I use securitytrails.com for all network related stuff. You're right with whois giving domains like gtav.com and gtaviii.com "a month ago". Securitytrails gives me different results.

Exactly , i know it's farfetched but srsly rockstar is known for little details like this. Could be also could not.

But it's curious , same number of letters. and would only work for gtaiv aswell and since that's out of the picture. IT MUST BE VI!!!

They probably have no time for remasters, because they're always working on something new, that explains why each GTA is different and why it takes years and years to create a GTA nowadays.
