Yeah they were just crazy back then during the 3D era and all of them are good some of the best. It was not soo realistic but it wasnt unrealistic it was 3D era. But Liberty City was more detailed city and looked more real and nicer with diffrent buildings and the hood with diffrent projects, well thats how it looks in NYC and in LA its more like 2 story buildings and terraced houses... 

 

 

Dont know what era the next game will be set in during the 3D era was pretty cool go back in time like during the 90's GTA SA and LCS had good rap songs. But gta vc gta sa and gta vcs radio was the only good except 1 radiostation in gta lcs

Some of it also has to do with the devs ambition. They always want their next game to be better than their last one.

So if Groundskeeper Willie is talking bullsh*t (which I'm about 70% sure of) and the game doesn't get announced on the 25th, when do you's think we will hear something. My bet would be the summer or else shortly after the new consoles are released.

Yeah, exactly. And larger studios/more employees doesn't always translate to faster development. Scale and ambition also increases. So they end up taking just as long, or even longer.

Do you think a gta game in the 1970's would work? Closest to that was gta london and i cant compare that with even gta 3. Or would it be more like The Warriors. Its not really the mafia era either. The only bad thing i would think about is during HD era the oldest game was set in 2008 and its a really big jump. And the other game is set in diffrent universe and the closest would be gta vcs 1984. Damn its really hard thinking about a new game it feels like if they made a new game the other games should already have known about that

Don't see why not. Liberty City in the 70's would work well. And hypothetically speaking, Tommy Vercetti's backstory was set in LC in the 70's. So anything could really work.

I reckon there's a reasonable chance we're going to have a hiatus, while the world sorts itself out. I think this year is pretty much buggered for marketing new stuff that people don't really need. FFS, you can't even buy toilet roll in the UK (not that I've ever used it myself anyway!) LOLZ

Maybe. But then you still have Sony and Microsoft pushing on with console details. I don't think things like these will be canceled or pushed back. The world has to go on, and they won't stop because of it. I'm still not expecting anything, though. I never have done this year.

Yeah would be cool or any other city. But if they wont do games back in the days anymore until after the next one. They probably going to do Vice city again set in 2020... Because they did Liberty city 2008 then San andreas 2013 soo the only missing now is Vice city

I appreciate that, but sh*t is getting real, really fast. I'm dealing with companies that are going under by the day (two of the f*ckers pay my mortgage). It's probably the worst time to be trying to flog tech stuff that people don't really need.

Judging by how broken RDRII currently, I won't be surprised if GTA VI was taking this long because they accidentally broke some of the game data and they don't even know how to fix it

From what I gathered, some dude with broken English predicted something about RDR2 way back then, and he was correct about it. 

 

And now that he said something about GTA VI being announced on March 25th, everyone believes him because of RDR2, which could have been just a coincidence.

I doubt it's going to change anything, I'm not sure, but I don't think games are made specifically for a specific part of device.

Although I think the release of the PC version will be delayed, as in previous years
