this is apparently what a lot of people are believing at the moment from what I have gathered in this thread:

 

- logo change during the morning time today

 

- announcement on 25th

 

- when a trailer is to be released hasn't been speculated as far as I know

I would understand if the weekend himself would be doing the tease with VI, but why would some magazine (Complex Music) be doing this? Makes no sense

i imagine if something remotely VI happens today the mods will probably shut the forum down for a couple of hours because of heavy traffic perhaps? they never shut down the forums when V was announced though

I don't think they'd do that. Seems like if the floodgates are going to open there's no avoiding it and assuming the servers can handle it there's nothing gained by shutting down. Maybe prevent new account sign ups but I can't see much more than that happening.

i really wouldn't look too much into it, unless The Weeknd had hired the magazine to promote it which is extremely unlikely
