Also, what if this whole 25th of March thing is just going to be some retro clothing and cars promotion for GTA Online lol, many people here would be on suicide watch then haha

he isn't a "leaker" he is just some guy that obtains all his information from this forum specifically this thread

This is to me the big hint gta 6 is set in the past,gta 6 will happen and it will satirize modern day politics but from a distance.

They announced GTA V in November 2011 and released a gameplay trailer in July 2013, game had a release date of "September 2017" in the gameplay trailer.

The profile picture mate. It has the Statue of Happiness on it, the LC metro and other famous LC/NY spots. I thought it may be for the GTA IV re-release, but that happened today and we still have the old profile picture.

The RDR2 themed Rockstar logo reveal was honestly one of the best game reveals I've ever seen tbh. In an age where AAA title reveals are rolled out on massive stages with flashy trailers and press blowouts, the RDR2 reveal was delightfully simple and was one of the best cases of a studio going "yea you know what this means time to get hyped" I've seen.

 

Not sure they should repeat it exactly for GTA VI but simply changing their avatar to "VI" would be ooooooooooof.

So I guess Rockstar did not 'announce" GTA V the same year it came out, but I am not sure if the game was originally planned for a 2011 release.

i concur, they shouldn't follow through with the similar announcement tactic they used for RDR2 for VI. whether if it's tomorrow or in 5-10 months I hope they have some cool graphic planned to tease it that isn't a different coloured logo

They have. I believe that San Andreas came out just a few months after it's announcement. It would be so amazing if they'd go back to doing releases like this, without the 2 year lasting droughts.
