the hints do not align with anything associated with GTA IV, so I highly doubt it. I guess we'll have to wait and see

these examples are close enough to each other in these times xD

 

but I would go and finish the GTA games I haven't finished yet this month if it is announced.

if not, I'll most likely finish them anyways.

Except that The Weeknd's new album is called After Hours, the robot and the videos for the upcoming album on 20th are very GTA-ish, the videos are focusing a lot on the city and the buildings. I'm talking about that particular:

Just take a look at his last instagram posts.

 

The Weeknd made a few car commercials. He loves cars, he is the perfect guy to present such details in the next GTA.

Worst scenario his songs will be playing in the radio.

He looks like Stephen Bliss drawed him as a character. 

 

Awesome PR move of Rockstar, but since they do random things at random time, it's unlikely. But remember when they paid for negative press and ratings on GTA?

 

Next GTA might not be even teased or mentioned the next year, but still ROCKSTAR could have made this (everyone start talking about GTA 6 - not fake news sites, famous and reputable people in gaming community, movie industry, etc to start tweeting random casually about GTA 6. The most famous and viral cop chase is gonna get called GTA 6 without a reason just right at these times? 

 

Rockstar can influence and play with time, people and events. And to be fair everyone mentioning E3 in the past (it's cancelled, I know), is just disrespecting the whole franchise as we know how Rockstar hates E3 and the last times they went there they did not want to bring attention. 

 

Staying at home the whole mass is making them go crazy and do even more strange things. Rockstar, Bethesda and everyone works from home now. Rockstar communicates in real time with every single office in the world when working on a game. They also have their own bug report system, wiki and management system. Anyways, probably they got enough to scrap a trailer, huh? Even if a teaser was planned for 2021, they might have released it these days just because actually COVID-19 affected it somehow and changed things. 

 

GTA is not being made in a factory in China neither 3D printed or it is not a console. It will be delayed but not like this. It will be probably delayed like 2 times and there will be some hard crunch on their employees (still not ok). 

 

 

If you look at the reviews for the company from people who work or worked there in the past, the "bosses" in the office have high self esteem and everyone with some special position loves to bully the weakest in there. I'm INTERESTED how hours made into the game development will be tracked from home, you can't get them correct at 100%.
