Why not? Makes them more money and fans will be happy to experience it again. If you are talking about why they are rereleasing it on Steam it's because Games for Windows (or whatever it was called) made it impossible to play it after it ended.

GTA IV: Complete Edition, although is a free upgrade for those who own GTA IV and Episodes from Liberty City, will be another way for Rockstar Games to make money. I wouldn't be surprised if they announced GTA IV for Playstation and released the Complete Edition for extra on both PS4 and Xbox One.

GTA V would get a boost, actually. I've mentioned this multiple times, over the last 500+ pages. Any time a new entry in a series is announced, the previous game receives a boost. It brings people back to the franchise that have been away. GTA IV's all time peak player count (on Steam alone) was August 2013, right before GTA V released, due to the hype. When GTA VI is announced, those GTA fans who weren't playing GTA Online will start to go back to previous GTA games. People don't suddenly stop playing the game.

im an example of this. Bough all gta games except 4 on steam . I wanna finnish them before vi comes out. Im sure there are other people like me...

When will you people understand that you CANNOT predict Rockstar's timing? We've been trough this before RDR2 came out, one of the trailers came out on a Sunday at like 11:30PM GMT.

Yeah, I played through GTA IV in  summer 2017, and GTA III, VC, SA, & V in summer 2018. I want to play them all again, but I kinda' want to wait until the game is announced. It's a great feeling replaying them once the game is announced. Did it in 2011 - 13.

I agree that GTA V would boost in users, but those users would be people that already own the game. My point was that I doubt many people would buy GTA V if GTA VI was announced.

I mean, to be fair, I think GTAV is exempt from this rule considering how huge and successful it is, and how it’s been out for 7 years now. If people haven’t bought it before now, NOTHING will change their mind.

No one can be sure about this. But I'd say if we get a logo change or something on the 20th then a reveal might happen on the 25th. Otherwise I think nothing is going to happen.

If there is a logo change on the 20th then i will 100% believe that GTA VI will be revealed on March 25th and @AliasSmithandJones will be my new religion.
