I'm not really sure I'm best suited to explain this; but basically the person who has been pretending to be a jockstrap made the Eastenders thread, which is a bunch of videos that may or may not  be something to do with the next GTA/Bully/Manhunt/Max Payne/Midnight Club/Table Tennis.

 

Then the forum went nuts. It got invaded by r/soles. We got no information, then for some reason decided that March 25th was obviously when information about the next R* game was going to arrive.

Rockstar Games announcement GTA 4  in late January  and release a trailer on March 29.

Take Two announcement early February, expect something in the coming months.

The GTA 4 announcement said we getting something in the coming months and now Take Two announced the same thing.

I supose we are get an announcement after the announcement, caused Rockstar Games announcements keep getting delayed.

Even @AliasSmithandJonesannounced a announcement

     Considering GTAVI won’t be released till 2022-23 maybe late 2021, I believe it will not be on current generation consoles.  I’m almost 100% positive they have had the specs for the next consoles for a year or two by now.. they know what to expect as far as how good their going to be.  Now if they did for some reason create/build gtaVI for the current generation that’s would be very disappointing. 
 

     RDR2 was amazing and had a lot of mechanical and graphical advancements, GTAVI has got to go far beyond what we saw in that, think about all the interiors and graphics in a giant city, possibly two cites and all the other crazy, insane advanced things people expect and are hoping for in this new title.  The graphics should be revolutionary and that would only be able to be done on next generation consoles.

     Unless “gonnaenodaethatt” works for rockstar directly, wouldn’t Rockstar change their plans after monitoring these threads (like people say they do) and seeing that he has leaked important information like the announcement/hint date (March 25th) and all of us talking about it. 
 

     Wouldn’t they want it to be a surprise, with all these “leaks” going around I would have to assume they would change that date.. so it’s a surprise.  Obviously we will see on Wednesday the 25th, but if you really think about it, how and why would Rockstar allow this?

Nah, that's not really how things work. 

This isn't Rockstars reaction anytime something leaks. There are many millions who aren't even aware of topics of discussion on places like these. I'm not saying it will be announced. I'm just saying we aren't that important, in that particular respect.

Why would a multi million dollar publicly traded company delay their billion dollar plans because a scottish dude told 500 people that the next game might be in vice city and might be announced in march maybe.
