You ain't a GTAForums OG unless you remember the 70+ page thread leading up to the GTAIV trailer that was devoted to the idea that the game was gonna be set in London.  Everyone all pissed when it turned out to be Liberty City.

I didn't get the internet until the 9th June 2006. I probably lurked during those times. Took me quite a while to sign up to most sites I used. Back in them days I would visit any site after googling "GTA IV". No recollection of it, though. I do remember waiting for the countdown to hit zero, only for the site to crash

There is or was a low-key economy behind leaks, real or fake, advertising revenue earned from a convincing enough leak can be enough to warrant the effort to fake this information.

Problem is, new people here one thing that is incredibly dumbed down, which changes over time, and misinformation spreads like crazy. Didn't you know? You and AliasSmithandJones are confirmed leakers who have been accurately leaking and predicting things since GTA2, probably /s

Im more surprised that "kids these days" () still use forums. i was like 10 when i made my account but social media wasnt as huge and access to the internet wasnt as easy. Now the kids have reddit and twitter

 

Idk i'd just assume the average age of a forum user would be alot higher
