I haven’t posted here in nearly ten years but one thing is super apparent: you new jabronis are spoiled rotten.
 

You have a guy with a proven track record of leaking stuff literally giving you dates to suggest an announcement or a teaser.

You guys have it so good.  We had IV announced in ‘06 at EE.  Then months of NOTHING until we got a trailer date.
 

Before V, we had to deal with nonsense like WHERES THE BLUE? And Genesis and “The Chevy Chase Theory” months!!! before Rockstar even confirmed the game was in development.

7 years after the release of the last game.
Zero news on gta 6 in 7 f*cking years.

In the entire history of Rockstar Games there has never been such a long period of silence on the gta series.

Ive been on this forum for a long time too 

 

I was here 2 years before I created my account but this feels like the longest wait usually by now I’m sure we would be half way through a mapping thread based off at least 2 trailers / teasers and several screenshots

He doesn't exactly have a proven track record. His Usher Hall thread was, at best, a strong indication Rockstar were showing the game off at a local event with the press. Everything else is open to interpretation. But I agree with everything else. Good to have you back! I always wonder why people with old accounts suddenly stop posting.

so that would confirm if it's true the release of GTA 6 on the current consoles

 

don't forget that GTA 6 will cost much more than GTA 5, that RDR 2 despite the big sales is hardly profitable given the huge budget invested

 

so if you think they're going to skip a generation of over 160 million consoles you're still a little naive

If gta 6 came out on ps4 / xbox one they would have announced it 1 year ago, they haven't skipped a generation, remember? Gta 5 was released on ps4 / xbox one, generating a few billion dollars in revenue

How does that confirm anything? GTA IV was also planned to release within a year of next gen.
