They are but Playstation events are usually only for games developed by first party studios like Naughty Dog, Insomniac and Santa Monica so the likelihood of the game being announced there is pretty slim, plus i don't see a company as greedy as Take2 cutting off the Xbox market for a whole month

This looks incredible.. It is unimaginable to think of GTA VI as a Cross-Gen title looking at all the power available in the generation consoles.

AFAIK, please also bear in mind that our Scottish friend hasn't said what is going to happen on March 25th (As much as he has "said" that anything is, if you see what I mean!). It may be another riddle from him rather than anything direct from Rockstar. I'm certainly not expecting to see a trailer any time soon.

 

I'm in the camp of enjoying what he has been posting, speculating what/if it may mean.

Looks like Microsoft is going all out this year. Those are some beastly specs. Meanwhile we have nothing on PS5...

Who do we think is composing the theme music this time around? GTA V's was fun and experimental but i'd like to see Michael Hunt put his personal flavor on GTA 6's theme. He really is iconic when it comes to GTA themes.

How far into development do you think GTA 6 is? Would like to see an announcement sooner rather than later, especially if there will be a couple of delays like Red Dead.

I don't expect them to announce GTA 6 until after the next-gen consoles are released tbh.

Imo pre-production began in 2012/2013. Full production 2016/17.

People got confused with the article about bully 2 2009 version being cancelled,there are no words or leaks about the new bully 2 being cancelled,the only official info we had is that Yan said bully 2 was next back in 2017.Then nothing after.

The game hasn't even been hinted at by Rockstar, there is no way that when the game is in stores that the PS4/X1 are going to be relevant.

Making it cross-gen is the biggest mistake they could make. I hope it will be next gen only.

It will not be cross-gen, there will be no cross-generational titles that aren't already in the late stages of their advertising = GoT, TLOU 2, etc.

 

Based on Rockstar's schedule the game won't even be on shelves for another 2 years minimum, to compare, there were 0 cross-generation titles in 2015 for the PS4/PS3.
