Las Venturas with a large desert and dunes, couple of ghost towns, a few other cities around. And not forgetting Area 69. That'd be swell. I could also see them doing the same with San Fierro.

they could just ask Ubisoft if they can borrow SF they did a pretty good job modelling it for WD2

Few here seem to have considered the possibility that this is effectively an authorised "leak" (assuming of course that he does know something anyway!)... i.e. the start of the marketing campaign... a sort of very early method for generating attention before the more traditional announcements. If that were the case, we've been fed exactly what they want to give us at this stage and in the way that they want to do it. It's the way I've been thinking of these posts anyway :).

It did, we are playibg as the boomer Sammy Bottino against other boomers of 1980's Vice City.

Eastenders is a word the same as boomer.

You really like bringing up that cargo job. It was actually in North Yankton. I admit it is interesting but I've had enough of Michael and Trevor and hope that they aren't in the next game.

In GTA IV there's a miles traveled stat and Carcer city is one of them. Liberty City to Carcer City. If you look at the distances it's pretty close to either Boston or Philadelphia, and Philadelphia just screams GTA city to me imo.

 

 

 

 

To me Philadelphia just feels like a GTA city.  It's a pretty sh*tty place well the people make it seem like a sh*tty place. Also Camden, NJ is right across the river from it.

I think making Carcer City Philadelphia would work. I used to think it was Detroit or Chicago but I'd be happy if they made Carcer Philadelphia.

According to the theory, Grand Theft Auto VI's map will run up the east cast from Vice City to Chicago and the Great Lakes. Meanwhile, it will stretch as far southwest to northern Mexico.

I’m from Michigan so I would kinda want Detroit I think that would be cool, especially with the Great Lakes and it is just a beautiful state (in the summer time)

Las Venturas + San Fierro would be an interesting combo. San Fierro played with verticality far more than any other GTA city to date, which is something I really want to see more open world games play with rather than just going for super huge but flat maps. Would be a lot of fun to drive around that city with modern physics I think. Las Venturas also obviously brings a whole unique set of toys they could play with whatwith the casinos.

 

I'd be very happy with either SF + LV or VC + LC personally. If I had to choose one single city.... I dunno. Vice City is the obvious choice, but San Fierro I think has a lot of potential.
