Such announcements are planned for months, no one will change schedule due to some rumors...

How do you know this? Sony has yet to announce PS5 event and developers will get PS5 specs pretty soon (canceled GDC event timeframe). Things will start leaking like crazy if they won't reveal it.

What are you talking about, they have developer kits. So they have the specs and have been working on these new consoles for some time now.

Only biggest developers have development kits or first party studios or those, that have some kind of agreement with Sony. Rest of them (Indie developers) know as much as we know.

sadly millions of people are going to lose their jobs and many of them won't be able to have the disposable income to buy a new console let alone a new game. we are only in the beginnings of this crisis. who knows how bad it will get.......
