Used to be the same in the GTAO DLC Speculation thread, maybe it still is. Usually I wait for official news or I'll get involved if a leak looks really legitimate and believable. I haven't really seen anything thus far that would indicate anything is coming anytime soon.. I certainly wouldn't expect anything this year. It's smart to not get your hopes up for anything.

December isn't the usual reveal window for Rockstar Games. I bet we won't hear about GTA VI until October next year. It is simply too soon to announce it..

They could announce it any time now, really. There are no major GTA Online or RDR2 updates on the way AFAIK, and no other major games announced. But I do think they'll announce it sometime early next year so they can give RDOnline a bit of time on the spotlight. It would also distract people a bit from CP77 and W_D:Legion.

Hopefully we get some kind of announcement or teaser from R* in next few months. I'm dying to hear anything GTA 6 related officially. I'm hoping we get some info during Sony event next month but I'm not holding on to it too much in fear of disappointment.

Couple rumours floating round that Mafia IV is indeed in production, and they're remastering Mafia II. Obviously grain of salt type sh*t, ill try find where I read it.

I remember reading that too. I think they just recently renewed the trademarks a couple months ago. From what I remember they didn't really cancel the sequel, they just scrapped the idea for it they were working on (70's Vegas) and are going in a different direction now.

Nah disagree. Take Two wants a big title every year. Prepare to wait 40 years for the next Mafia if they give it to R*

 

What they need to do is take Mafia away from Hangar 13 and give it to another 2k studio or just fire Haden Blackman.
