I would agree that there is something else going on. But whether that's B2 or the next MC, or something else, we just don't know. And the relative silence would suggest to me one of two things: it's either a trivial sideline title that will be released almost as an afterthought, or it's so huge that everyone involved is totally focussed into total silence! XD

The thing you should really focus on is that Rockstar wants these testers to be as cost-effective as possible so probably this is not so huge budget game. Suits well to like you said either Bully 2 or MC if it is in works. Bully was not financial success but at the same time it wasn't fail like Max Payne 3 was.

Do you think rockstar is going to set up a studio in india because he wants to?
if they ride it there it is because there will be qualified people for it.

The appeal of India is that it churns out many thousands of exceptionally qualified and exceptionally capable people. It also happens that the cost of running a R* office there might be remarkably low on a spreadsheet viewed in LA or Edinburgh. 

 

So we're back to the start really - we don't know whether this is GTA6 or GTAO or B or MC or something totally new.

Yea, why can’t an Indian studio work on GTA6? It’s the 2nd biggest population on earth. I imagine they are very involved with it!

Well it's more about what the R* Indian base is up to. The strategic connections, the specialist roles and the speculative contexts that these weights and balances imply. 

 

Otherwise the non-existant R* China would be totally in control by virtue of their numbers...

Lol the VI logo will most definitely not look anything like the V logo. People keep making logos with the little banner on them - lol like it’s probably not a trend they’ll carry on.

It is but it doesn't mean, that they won't use other state for this reason (Red Dead Redemption 2 map is based on 5 states). If Liberty City + Vice City setting is true then they have to connect somehow those 2 cities. They wouldn't just put hills in Florida because it would look ridiculous. There are some hills in Pennsylvania and Virginia also. They can easily use them. I think, that Rockstar learned their lesson with RDR 2 to don't limit themselves.

The reality is that's just how Rockstar operate. They stay quiet and don't say sh*t.

They might have taken some liberties in creating the maps of V and Redemption 2, but definitely none had the level of inaccuracy that a re-imagined Florida setting would if they put mountains in it. No, they won't go that far, and yes, I firmly believe that re-imagined Florida alone wouldn't work for R*. Verticality is important from exploration, scenery, atmosphere and gameplay perspectives.

Also, why do people need mountains so bad? Same goes with swamps... some people want the most boring things in the game.

Could this mean the beta stage is almost on its ending phase. We could see some type of announcement early next year, I feel we dont have anything this year because they want to focus marketing attention on RDR2 PC. I still think its a 2021 early release.

Even Gta 6 is ready to reveal,they won't announce until next gen consoles revealed. Sony and Microsoft wont let them show graphics before they show in ther reveal. I dont think R* annlunce Gta 6 without trailer.
