This, so much. Part of the reason we had so much hype for GTA V, was the wait. Back then, it was only 3 and a half years, or 2 years after TBoGT. Right now it's been 7 years (come September), and it only makes it better when we do see it. Just manage your expectations. Seriously.

I get what your saying but I don’t think it’s unreasonable to have expected some news on a sequel by now. I’m not even convinced we’ll hear anything next year either. Maybe they are just happy making online DLC?

Like I've always said. Rockstar changed after GTA V. They spent 5 years working on one game. It took them 3 years to announce RDR2. So we should be expecting the same thing for their next game.

Perhaps, but Genesis was different. I never took part in it, but from what I followed it was very mysterious and wierd, but fun. This, right now is just desperate silly speculation. We'll look back on it, sure. but quite differently.

The online part of these two games(GTAO&RDO) is only made by,and if it is not the case then it should be made by a small part of development team.Otherwise this company will be burned in the hell fire,cuz the online game won't be so broken if they're actually working really really hard on these stuff. And considering the fact that the dlc of gtao is already being finished long time ago,now the only thing they're working for the current projects is pretending they can make that deadbeat rdo die less painfully when they are ready to announce their new game.

I read some interview a while ago where some Rockstar guy said they see a lot of potential in RDO and have big plans for it. They add stuff on a weekly basis and, surprisingly, a lot of people are actually playing it. I also thought it's gonna be dead soon enough when I last played it in the summer of 2019, but apparently Rockstar unironically treats RDO seriously.

-Trailers and screenshots showed a lot of trees and vegetation, the final game heavily trimmed the vegetation and removed a lot of trees cuz "CoNZol LiMiTaTiON"

 

-Tequi-la-la is shown to be accessible in Trailer 1. In the final game it can only be accessed during a mission and then it's locked permanently

 

-2405, enough said

 

-The Gameplay Trailer shows purchasable properties, which is unsurprisingly Online-exclusive in the final game

 

- Cockstar once saying NPC supposedly have daily routine, in the final game, the NPC is on par with 3D Era

I just meant at least. Wayback machine shows they were there at least in 2009. All you need to know is that it's not referencing unreleased games.

Nah they keep adding tons of bugs to the single player when release those big deal online updates since the november of last year,and the biggest problem right now is the animals not spawn which annoys many players for months and they still fail to repair this issue.I guess yeah,if they really want to try to keep the game active for some years before gta vi release then they'll take time to work hard on it in next gen and make it a big deal.(Considering it took them eight years to make rdr2 I think they won't give up on its assets so easily)But if nobody can stand their lazy online mess in the coming months.....I guess we'll hear something like new game release sooner than one can think lol
