Rockstar doing maintainance check on Wednesday.Seems like after their live stream gone wrong they have to take this approach to fix some bugs

The fact that R* is doing 2 hour downtime maintenance windows tells you how far behind they actually are in technological terms - VMs on the backend that need to be taken down ain't gonna cut it for next gen [let alone now or the last 5 or so years], so hopefully they are investing in proper cloud services for next gen...who knows. 

 

Anyone else curious on Dan Houser's leaving the company and what it might mean?

I dont agree, 1st picture more living and 2nd looks like a horror game.

Plus 2nd's eyebrows are longer then 1st's and the 1st one has lipstick while 2nds just natural color.

1st design 100% better in art

Of course they look different, they aren’t supposed to be identical, but the shading and art style are very similar. We don’t even have a full scale of the second picture. I’m sure others on here know what I’m talking about.

Seriously man  We are f*cking grasping straws here with that "leaked artwork" shows the crackhead desperateness to get their info fix.  there is nothing to see there.  Do respect the initiative to start conversation about this topic, but damm its the wrong one.

I was simply saying they look very similar. Wether or not it’s real, they could have the same artist

well what kind of servers should they have.., curious to be more enlightened on that subject..,

cause the only Rockstar Cloud Server I know or heard of is just a glorified memory card/datacheck that isn't that great at its job.., very limited.., and really doesnt solve most of rockstar problems which are created by not having a real Server instead of the low cost player to player set up they have right now..,

 

since if they do change how onl8ne function hopefully we can at least chew on that till something makes most people lose it again due to info drought..,

 

think they'll hammer some kind of jury rigged online system again.., or actually improve their multiplayer..,/possible move away from peer to peer(with regions and internationals only servers in the distance..,)

well as long as the cities are close enough, it can have different cities. surely not london if not for some mission like liberty city in gta sa.

PS3 era alike commercials are back PS5 reveal date announcement soon? Such ads started PS3 marketing campaign. There was rumor about PlayStation 5 reveal at the end of February. We'll see on Friday, I guess
