They improve RAGE with every game. I think they can make a game on any theme and it will be amazing.

I really want a pirate game, a cyberpunk style game and Red Dead in WW1 (maybe with Jack Marston) coming from R*.

yeah, that was always what I thought, and read. But I've been there before, read articles and picked little pieces out before, that might not sound believable. There may be something out there that suggests what Kris is saying, though. But I don't remember that.

Perhaps because GTA V is an open world, compared to MP3 in some ways it may seem that there is a downgrade to the engine, but there is not, it's just the way the engine works on both game styles to maintain stable gameplay.

These days, all leaks are fake until proven otherwise. After RDR 2 map leak, i am sure Rockstar changed already strict NDA and now it is even more strict and can easily ruin someone's life. That's why there are no more leaks, it is just not worth it.

If you're an employee it's not worth leaking anything at all, in fact it doesn't even make sense, if it's found out you're fecked for the rest of your life. The other day here where I work they found out that a guy sold our product designs to another company, he got fired and sued.

That being said, I still expect leaks to happen. Mostly slip ups, CV's, domain registrations, casting documents, etc. As for employees leaking details? harder to believe. But still, people can be dumb, mad or pissed off. It's always going to happen. It's just a little less likely for Rockstar. I still think in the wake of Leslie Benzies incident was what caused the RDR2 leaks from 2016 - 2018. Perhaps even The Knows Project Americas 'leak', if that turns out to be true.

Some people treat this thread as if the members who post speculative nuggets are trying to put one over on everyone. Yeah that's missing the point. I wasn't suggesting a draconian ban on any speculation here, but I was suggesting a more sensible quality threshold when it comes to determining what is and isn't worth discussing.

 

But that clearly seems about as popular as a fart in a spacesuit.

If we are going to select each leak that should be discussed we will not discuss any because not even the old true leaks people believed.

I´ll explain it for you.

 

Nobody is here to prove something. We are here to speculate about what could be possible and what not. Everybody has a picture in his mind about GTA 6 and can share it with the community. He can even paste links until his death. He can claim that leak x or y is true, because it is his opinion. It can never be a fact, until it´s proven from an official or valid source. I know that Uncle Sam is here, but he should just not. They try to stop any discussion completely and that´s not right.

 

It is not the question if a leak is valid, it´s not the point of this thread. People are just speculating about GTA 6, that´s all. And nobody should aggressively trying to stop it or to disturb it with all kinds of rhetorical strategies like a Red Herring or a straw man argument or even worse with accusations.

It's nothing like a rhetorical strategy and frankly you wouldn't understand a straw man or red herring if one slapped you in the face.
