If it were real I wouldn't be there anymore, NFS Heat had three months between announcement and release, this won't happen with GTA VI

Also, I prefer a more serious story with some light hearted moments thrown in. I forgot I was even playing GTA sometimes with V.

It's not unbelievable in and of itself... But in today's age? Sony would have to pay a monumental fee for that. Microsoft paid $50M in 2006 for timed exclusive DLC AND for GTA IV to release on Xbox 360 the same day as PS3.

Depending on when it launches, how many Series X's will be out there? How many potential copies would they be missing, and then let's say Online launches 1 month later, they're missing 5 months of shark card sales on top of that... Yeah, it's a lot.

An announcement this year is a (small) possibility, but also a 2020 release is just not happening, there's no way.

2020 release seems unlikely. If anything they will extend the hype period for their games for maximum profit. We also had Rockstar hyping RDR2 through GTA:Online by adding a gun to the game, so it's possible they will do something similar for GTA VI, like adding a weapon or vehicle meant for that for like $100 million. Gotta milk them Shark Card sales while you can!

Only a few things are certain at this time. GTA6 will eventually be released, it will be buggy, online will crash often, endless patches will be released to fix previous patches, and the Rockstar support forum will be down for extended maintenance a day after release.

No, none of that is certain. This negative attitude is a cliche and more of a meme nowadays. Red Dead Redemption 2 is arguably the most bug-free and stable Single Player product that R* has ever released.
