I live in FL and I hope they do it justice

We literally have everything here. Best space port, golf resorts, casinos, theme parks, sport teams, lakes and wildlife.

Way more real estate than all those mountains in GTAV.

I hope they go the realistic route and have your character get a brain tumor if conversations last too long.

If GTA 6 has a theme park, and if it takes place in Florida, I’d love to see Rockstar’s take on Disney World. Although Orlando is a 3 hour drive from Miami GTA maps are extremely condensed and they could make a take on Orlando be a few minute drive from Vice City. I can easily imagine rides like Splash Mountain becoming something like Flash Mountain, haha.

What makes me happy about GTA 6, is that this game has all the grounds it needs to be perfect.

GTA IV was good, but missions could be more diverse...

GTA V was good, but the three character system messed up the story a bit, characters should have been more developed...also the city didn't feel real like LC.

RDR2 was a good mix of realism and fun, both in story matters such as in gameplay matters...

R* now knows what the players like and what players don't. Also, gta 6 won't be limited by hardware as V was. This game, my friends, will be good.

I hope it feels like San Andreas felt in 2004.

It won't. In my opinion there will never be anything that will capture that feeling again unless it's new players who've never experienced a GTA game before.

thats because the Los Santos city is WAY Smaller than the City in GTA 4, but they added a HUGE Desert and Wildlife wich i legit rarely even visit.

GTA 5 really feels small if you hang out in Los Santos only, wich is disappointing.

Los Santos needed more interiors and activities.

Its kinda sad that so many interiors got scrapped, including a Comedy Club Interior, Bahama Mama Interior and the Police Interior, wich is only accessible through an Business Battle in Online.

So fun fact, the director of 'Scottish Games Network' (the news source that broke the Ruffian Games and Rockstar news) was the Former Global PR Manager of Rockstar Games and Former UK PR Manager at Take 2.

I don't completely agree with this, but I get the sentiment, and you may be right. But strangely enough, I kind of felt the same way about GTA III and Vice City. I think that there was something magical in those old PS2-Era AKA 3D-Era games, because Rockstar was not just making great games, but were also sort of inventing the sandbox genre as they went. While I think GTA V is an improvement over so many things in the GTA franachise, games aren't just about being "technically better." There was definitely something special about San Andreas, and the two that came before it, that I am not sure any GTA game, no matter how good it is, will ever be able to truly capture.

for me, nothing will ever beat 3d era GTA because I grew up playing those games. you can't win with nostalgia

I know but I like this forum and I don't want to be seen as someone who spreads bullsh*t info, and now when I think about it that post really made me sound like your average fake leaker on r/gta6 lol,but now I learned my lesson, don't post leaks or anything unless you can link source/proof.

i doubt R* would re add old Radio Stations.

GTA V had Radio Los Santos and West Coast Talk Radio (WCTR) from San Andreas, so it's more than possible. However it still looks like blatant fakes.

I hope GTA VI is in Carcer City or somewhere completely new. I guess these fake rumors give us something to talk about at least.

True. The swamps and tropics will be a new scene to Grand Theft Auto universe. However, knowing that the rural areas have become essential to the Grand Theft Auto experience, one would wonder what rural Florida can bring to the table against, say, rural NorCal. I wouldn't even mention the verticality aspect and how a re-imagined Florida will basically be a flat land with no interesting high-altitude hills and mountain ranges. It seems to me that rural Florida isn't that interesting relative to other states in order to allow for a more expansive, varied map than V.

I am hoping for multiple cities. I want to see seasons. Imagine the gritty streets of Carcer or Liberty City where you can really feel the weather and the coldness of a blizzard. Just like Ambarino in RDR2.

Knowing? GTA IV didn't have any, and it was a great game. If Rockstar is able to create an absolute masterpiece of a map/world based on a urban areas, I don't think (in my opinion) that any rural area is strictly required for a Grand Theft Auto experience. Sure, mountains and forests would definitely add up to the world, but maybe most players wouldn't miss it. I am totally pro deserts/mountains/forests, but this is just my observation.

Well, if GTAO was only based on Los Santos, then it'd definitely not have had the longevity that it's currently enjoying. The map would've been too small for any enjoyable and exciting flying, driving and exploration. GTA IV was actually going to have rural areas, but given that it was R*'s first large title on PS3/X360 and using a newly developed engine, they had to scale down their vision.

Exactly. But in my vision, if R* is able to create a satisfying urban world (and that is not what happened in GTA5) we won't miss the rural areas.
