Gonna grind a million, that's it.... I just don't have much motivation to go past 50 million too much, not after last year's turkey of a December 'update'

 

Also, can we get something in THIS game for playing RDO? It's always the other way around lol "Play GTA to get ____ on RDO!" Never "Play RDO to receive ____ on GTA!" You think the last one would be used more, considering GTA's more popular and all

Decent car with a great sound and nice comfy drive, will be a nice city runner though it's not a car I feel adds too much to the game, but nice to have luxuries and just buy stuff because. 

 

It'll not get me out of my Hellfire for too long though.

 

2x TB missions is always a peach, stuff the crates but good luck to any looking to clean up on those, awesome money there if you can. 

 

The new Adv Mode isn't my bag and the discounts aren't for me as usual. But a decent week regardless. Thanks @Volganor as always. ✌

This event week seems to be based around the new Ocelot Jugular and the King of the Hill adversary mode.

• The Jugular was an easy decision for me. I had an Ocelot Lynx (turkey) tucked away, which doesn't perform and doesn't look particularly good either, so a like-for-like change was an obvious choice. Think of the Jugular as an upgrade or modernisation of your current collection. It's cheaper than the Lynx too.
   
• Statistically, King of the Hill is a deathmatch, which gives you a chance to get some kills with an assortment of different weapons. It's good to play in teams and lets you play outright attacking if you're feeling aggressive or a more defensive if you want to hold back and defend a base.
  • Here's my gripe: Rockstar gives us an assortment of ways of getting into the game, from the loading screen, various map icons, quick menu, etc.; however, there is NO centralised map icon for the currently active game like there is with Race Series and Survivals, which enable you to jump into a populated lobby instead of being on your own when you get there. Realistically, you have to host the game yourself, wait for an invite or go on call. I literally restarted GTA online so that I could jump into an active lobby.

I have a handful of crates in one warehouse I half-heartedly sourced, I'll sell them off and run Client Jobs as usual, want to get to $320 million just as a personal milestone, not really doing any serious grinding any more.

 

A great week for newer players, plus crate warehouses are on sale.

How is that King of the Hill thing?

 

Looks like a classic domination mode, like old Unreal Tournament. How are the maps? Only seen one video from the beach, looks messy and cheap.

 

KotH will also come to the Creator if Foxy Snaps survival creator video is the thing.

Pretty fun, aside from the usual laggy/suspiciously-good-for-a-low-rank-players. The maps are not too dissimilar from stuff like Hardest Target. I'm not a big fan of the Legion Square one. It has spawn points on top of the buildings, leading to lots of players just sniping in stead of going for points. A positive is that it looks like bulletproof helmets are forced off!

No point adding 2x to anything, the game is too rigged. If folk are playing it less, that's why. No-one wants to just lose all the time and score the odd lucky hit, lol.

 

A game has to have a fair chance at winning to be fun, IMHO. I know these are gambling and the odds should be stacked against the players, but as said often, there's a fine line between realism and fun in videogames.

 

If I knew I couldn't win a race/anything, or it was a gamble to complete a heist with the odds like that casino (with a team of good gamers I mean), those modes become dead quickly too.

I haven't been back to the casino since the opening week. The now mandatory two hour trudge from the door to the high roller tables put me off.
