When we can download it?

So as the title says when you guys think we can start downloading the game files? As 150 GB is not exactly a 5 min download.

 

BTW I bought the RGL version, can't wait for Steam.

Yeah, I definitely hope there's a pre-loading option, even if there's still a 20gb day one patch or something. I live in a town where only a few industrial areas have fiber, while residential areas are still stuck on copper wires from the 1990s. It took me the better part of an afternoon to download GTA V, so downloading RDR2 would likely take me the better part of a day.

Honestly so glad I’m upgrading to superfast broadband, It would take forever on my current dl speed. Either way it’s getting switched next Wednesday (63mbps) should only take around 6 hours or so!

That is, if they ever do message you about it... Usually it's all talk and no action with those "fibre expansions".

Nope. I've 250Mbps speed and I get full speed.

No but you can set one manually if you need to.

Like, 150 gigs is a lot - especially for us Aussie players. For me it will take about 8-10 hours, but for a lot of my friends it'll be a good few days of constant downloading.

 

I hope they are more lenient and give a weeks time, at the minimum.

Mine will take around a day and a half :*(, I'm paying for 15 megabytes of speed, of wich I get like 2 or 3 mb. And this is not a new experience, GTA V takes roughly a day to download.

I feel you on that one (especially the GTA V install) i currently get around that speed. All this is to change come Wednesday when i get new broadband in. So leaving the PC on to download overnight should be no more.

So, for RDR 2 we can expect October 29 as begin for pre-load.

If they compensate for the game size it could be a bit earlier though.

I'm studying at University and the internet I have has a download speed of 30 mbps. I hope they open the game to download a week in advance.

For me it should take 2-3 hours as I get 140Mbps. I can download GTA V in an less than an hour so as long as the preload is a few days earlier I’ll be happy.

New internet day! Should take around 4 - 5 hours for me to download. Getting around 67mbps down.
