Any tips for 5 star difficulty ? I don't intend on catching his goons alive but I'd like to bring him back in. Playing on free aim with a shotgun and repeater. Not scared to say I got f*cked up good a couple times when he shot at dynamite barrels as I wasnt expecting it. Also I'm not using tonics and consumables, will I suceed ? Card layout is SB, Gunslingers choice, fool me once and sharpshooter.

Move, use cover. Sniper is good in the beginning. Try to shoot some of the explosive crates also. I used the bolt action and a repeater apart from the sniper.  I also used consumables, don't see why you shouldn't. But basically just the health stuff. One good thing is also to take your time. No need to rush. Pick the henchmen one at a time.

Edit: I have a bounty wagon but didn't call it until I actually went to get Sergio.

K, so should I deal with some of the "outposts" too before heading uphill ? Found myself pinned down a few times which made me panic and exposed myself once every enemy is alerted. Does it play a role in the waves of enemy spawns ? Any nasty surprises before entering Annesburg ? Thx anyway for the quick reply. 👍

I wen't up to the top  of the hill which I think is sort of behind the tower. There are some tents there with npcs. Just beware though that more enemies can come up from the hill. Not just on the top, so watch the radar and move/use cover.

After you killed all of them and hogtie Sergio there will be a handfull coming up on horseback. So when you carry him down from the tower have a revolver or pistol unholstered. After that there will be several goons on the road to Annesburg. But the same tactic is good there as well. Ride fairly slow and you will see the first from a distance. Kill them with a rifle. After that just shoot everyone that comes after. Deadeye and Paint it black can be of help here. If Sergio is alive he will whine that you've killed them all when you kill the last of them. Then you can continue to the delivery point and don't have to worry about any more npc:s

From what I've experienced tho enemies don't show on radar on 5 star difficulty anymore. Is this not always the case ?

That's correct, atleast on this one.

Yeah right ? I remember some of the wolves on wolfman bounty at highest level difficulty were mostly not marked on the map as well. And same with owlhoot fam. That one machete wielding prick always annoyed the hell outta me.

Oh, no that's correct. After you hogtie him they don't show. You still get that reddish perimiter warning I believe. But basically just be careful and don't rush and you should be ok.

If you do rush in head straight to Vincenzo since he's the most dangerous. You can easily sneak in everytime. The other two Bounties aren't smart enough to run. Hogtie Vincenzo immediately and kill everyone else.

Is it possible to reach the tower without getting detected? If so, from where?

I can't post images at this time but generally you spawn near the main road. I follow the road but I stay to the right of the road crouching the whole way. I'll upload my latest run when I can. I made it all the way to the tower undetected until I started shooting at a few for fun.

Ok, thanks. I did 1 and 2 stars, didn't really have issues (not planning to go past 3 stars) just wondering if it's possible to reach the tower undetected.

During 2 stars I just rushed to the tower on horseback, got to the top safely, but almost died when an enemy coming up the stairs caught me offguard.

Noticed it was sometimes hard to see the red dots due to the bigger bounty icon of Sergio on the minimap covering the smaller dots.

During 1 star I was just slowly approaching the tower, staying in cover, avoiding red crates, and picking off enemies till it was safe to move to the tower.

Don't know which method would be easier for 5 stars, but I won't try, lol.

Tortured myself on this solo free aim. No tonics chugging, no food, add to it getting swarmed by npc's suddenly in the thickest of fog... Got real hectic. God bless I found refuge in the beaver hollow when really low on health. Then did another run with two buddies whom jumped on later, they play on auto aim. Easy as can be. Walk in the park.

Was paid 187.50 for my troubles as for the speedrun with them only gave 89$

I think this is the first one I won't be able to finish 5 stars solo. There just isn't enough cover on top of the hill.

I’m pretty useless but I did 5* solo, slow and steady, took about 5 attempts but if I can anyone can.

I don't know, but I got about 148$ for the 1 star difficulty. I stretched out the time to 30 minutes for the max payout, I hunted 5 deer at the start to fill up my hunting wagon.

Also, if your Bounty Hunter rank isn't at 20 yet, it's great XP for that too. Probably around 1500 XP or more.

i have zero interest in bounty hunter after rank 7 for eagle eye + which i already did

i also chuckle in collector when you mention a payout that doesn't start with a 3xx implying it's good, also lol waiting for payout good one

i'm only in it for the fashion

Good points, lol. I just needed to rank up my alt account BH to rank 12, this felt like the quickest way.

Collector laughs at everything indeed. Went from 17k when the update released to breaking 100k yesterday.

I'll upload a video soon to show how easy it is to do both solo and no aim assist.

For the 5* I silently took out the 3 enemies in the cabin then went up the hill, as soon I was spotted I just let the enemies come to me and picked them off one by one. After they were all killed I then worked my way around the hill clearing out the other camps.

You want to dismount a ways back. There are normally two guards you gotta watch out for, but can easily sneak past them so long as you spot them first. Don't rush and take your time, only push in when you know where they are.

You can still make it even if you get detected a little early, just rush the tower in a zig zag pattern to reduce the chance of getting hit. There is one guard at the entrance and one guard with Sergio, dispatch both of them quickly then hogtie Sergio.

Be careful up there cause you might kick Sergio instead of reloading so try not to be right up against him if you must do that.

Guards can also make their way up the stairs and shoot you in the back so check the stairs every few seconds. If one is coming up the stairs, again be careful cause you might lock on to Sergio instead of your target so don't go and pull the trigger the moment you lock onto a target. Your handling of the controls must be methodical

I tried to do an approach like this, but then one of the bounty targets escaped on me. So I figured I had to rush in and at least shoot those two dead before really digging in and camping in one spot.

Must be my luck then as the bounty targets have always attacked me as well and never run away.
