Very minor boss mechanic but it’s there. The first boss for me just stood in the building and did nothing, wolfman always ran away and never fought, the previous ones just shot at me like any other npc. However this one is different and hopefully rockstar adds to that in the future.

Yep it's halved. Also, keep in mind that pistol whipping a bounty counts as them dead too. Made the mistake of tackling Vincenza and knocking him out with a Mauser smack. The max payout for him dead or knocked out is $93.25 .48 Gold and 990 xp.

I find the easiest method is sneaking up to the tower, quickly dispatching the two guards near it, hogtie the bounty then just fight all his lackeys from the tower. Gives you perfect sight of all of them and can utilize the numerous explosives placed around the area to provide them the anarchy they sought.

it's the glare from the sniper. hte game even notifies you by putting a prompt before it happens.(no one reads though)

It combined with the sound of the heart beat and an escalating ominous sound is your warning that he is locking onto you (he is a sniper after all). I never been hit with it myself but I wager its an extremely deadly attack, possibly even a one hit kill hence why Rockstar found reason to put in an early warning when you are in his sights.

I figured something like that though. I just kinda hoped maybe it would be a hint at a weak spot or appropriate strategy.

Majority of the time it means Vincenzo is not going to just shoot. He's gonna detonate any nearby dynamite boxes in your vicinity. Found this out the hard way. Luckily, I didn't die.

Well, in that case I got very lucky several times.

 

But I don't think I'll be bothering him again. Seems a little too much effort for too little result.

I loaded up GTAO on my Red Dead account for a few minutes...... then loaded up RDO.  Nothing!!!

Right? Yes, it looks tacky, I am the first person to admit that, but it also looks cool. I mean I wouldn't wear it in real life but it looks good in RDO.

 

Very Assassins Creed'ish. I could imagine something like that being a special order for a Native American.

Any tips for 5 star difficulty ? I don't intend on catching his goons alive but I'd like to bring him back in. Playing on free aim with a shotgun and repeater. Not scared to say I got f*cked up good a couple times when he shot at dynamite barrels as I wasnt expecting it. Also I'm not using tonics and consumables, will I suceed ? Card layout is SB, Gunslingers choice, fool me once and sharpshooter.
